Alexander spent a month recuperating in the Bellafiore household. At first she had refused to see a doctor but after being assured by Rosalie that nobody was going to undress her she eventually gave in.
Surprisingly the doctor was Ariel who was in med school. The little girl spent her free hours pestering Alexander and unfortunately for Alex school was on break which meant more free time for Ariel to spend chasing her around.
Good thing is Alexander and the others were headed for the meal ship today. It was time to take back what rightfully belonged to her. A week after her disappearance she was pronounced dead while Caden took charge of the ship's activities. Anyone could tell he was guilty of attacking her, his malicious intentions was quite visible to the open eye.
After a long ride they finally arrived at the mael ship. The limo came to a stop and Alexander alighted from it along with Rosalie, King and Ariel who clung onto Alexander's shoulder like a magnet. Lorenzo decided to stay back, most of the gang's activities were handled by his wife anyway.
Caden went pale as a ghost on seeing Alexander.
"Aren't you supposed to be dead?" He questioned in disbelief.
"Try harder next time." She winked.
"I will only ask you this once." Rosalie spoke up informing Caden of her presence which he hadn't taken note of.
"Did you try to kill Ismael's last offspring?"
"Even if that is true who are you to meddle in the ships affairs?" Caden questioned.
"Me?" Rosalie laughed, "I'm his mother in law."
"Mother in-law?" Repeated Caden.
"Yes it's been awhile since the children got engaged about a month ago, were you not aware?"
"Right.. you were to busy plotting to sail a ship you have no qualifications for.."
Caden stepped forward enraged, "Listen here Rosalie.." but was rudely cut off.
"No you listen here cave man."
Both Ariel and King snickered from behind while Alexander fought back a laugh.
"If you make it home in one piece tonight say a thank you prayer to the lord that the kids weren't engaged before you pulled that crazy stunt.."
"Ask him to protect you too for if such ever repeats itself again the gates of hell will be ready to receive your soul."
Although Caden tried to appear calm one could tell he was shaken by the way his lips trembled. He couldn't seem to find a perfect reply, Rosalie was known for being a deadly snake one who doesn't make empty threats.
"Is that you Alex?" Lucas voice interrupted.
"I've been looking all over for you, I'm glad you're alive." He said in a fake sympathetic tone.
"Of course you are," Alex mumbled, "you need a puppet don't you."
Lucas pretended not to hear her, turning to Rosalie he stuck out a hand.
"It's been a while Rose, how have you been?"
"I have important matters to attend to." Rosalie announced leaving Lucas's hand hanging in the air.
She turned to Caden, "brief your brother about what I said, and do let him know I see through his facade."
"The wedding will be properly discussed and a date shall be picked." She whirled around but came to a pause.
"And before I forget I found your captain a bodyguard, don't worry bills on me." She flashed them a wink and grabbed Ariel's arm tugging her away from Alexander.
"Let's go baby."
"I can work as a bodyguard too." Ariel pouted reluctant to let go.
"You must be joking." Rosalie laughed at her daughter's silliness pulling her away by force. Ariel blew Alex one last kiss before disappearing with her mother.
King stood alongside Alexander as her newly appointed bodyguard. Caden appeared to have alot to say but king's intimidating presence kept his tongue in a twist. Lucas walked away without saying a word and Caden trailed behind him Alexander could tell both men were on their way to map out a devious plan but it didn't bother her, she had a powerful force behind her now.
Earlier when Rosalie made mention of a wedding Alexander's heart skipped a beat. That wedding must not hold, there was no way around it. Ariel could barely keep her hands to herself when they were together, if they were to be wedded she surely wouldn't take no for an answer on her wedding night.
"How long are we going to stand under the sun?" King's harsh tone knocked her back to reality.
"Pardon my manners." She apologized and led him into the mansion.
"I'll take the bed, you can sleep on the floor." Alexander announced the second she saw King's eyes roll to the bed.
King smirked clearly up to no good, "how about we have a competition," he proposed, "the loser sleeps on the floor."
"Bring it on." She replied without a second thought. She had been meaning to wack his ass anyway.
The both of them stood under the hot sun with many eyes on them, many were placing bets and Alexander was taking the lead, no one knew who King was Alex was however famous for her mischiefs.
She ran towards King hoping to land and punch but he evaded swiftly and pushed her from the back. She almost fell but managed to hold her stance, again she threw her fist in his face, rather than duck he grabbed her arm, raised her up in an attempt to fling her on the ground but she took that as an opportunity and coiled her legs around his neck strangling him.
He struggled to breathe but refused to admit defeat. After much attempt he tore her off him, his hands on her waist as he lowered her to the ground. He suddenly came to a pause as his muscular arms circled around her slim waist.
In one action he jacked her up to match his gaze leaving them only a few inches apart.
"Care to explain why your waist is so slim.." he trailed off.
"Almost like a woman's-"
The sound of her fist colliding with his jaw not only shut him up but sent him flying in the opposite direction.
"You lose." Alexander announced pridefully.
The crowd burst into a loud cheer.
"Captain! Captain! Captain!"
