After all, the distinguished Mr. Franklin was in his 80's and had served his country above and beyond the call of an ordinary man. His list of servitude was long and extraordinary and he brought the maturity of his wisdom and experience to these endless, hot summer days where these men from the highest ranks of society pounded out the standards of what was to become the Constitution of the United States.
