Hours later, Sash and I lie on my bedroom floor and stare at the ceiling. For some reason, the two of us are always more comfortable on the ground. Go figure. Suddenly, I’m not in my room anymore. Sash and I rest outside on the frozen earth beneath some towering pine trees. My heart sinks. Damn, I’m having another hallucination.
