Sure, I’m sitting in Big Apple Coffee. Still, in some ways, it’s as if I’m back in Mr. Brookhollow’s office at Paxton High. I pore over every millisecond of what just happened, it’s as if I’m experiencing it all over again. Everything in the coffee shop goes dark, except for a few beams of moonlight. Moments pass as my eyes adjust. Once I can see clearly again, I can"t believe what"s around me. The cafe is empty. The street outside is deserted as well. The entire city appears dark and abandoned.
