Some friends hunt deer together. Konstantin and I take down rogue nightlings. To that end, Konstantin and I hike toward the Cloisters, a castle-style building made of gray stone which sits atop a hill in New York’s Washington Heights. It’s a medieval art museum. For nightling vampires who started their human life as Viking killers, this place feels rather familiar. They like infesting the Cloisters and causing trouble. Long story short, this isn’t the first time nightlings have infested the museum after hours. One of my bloodkin runs the security staff. We got a call from her about twenty minutes ago.
