Chapter 28Late one evening, dressed to ward off the late March chill, Rachael entered the Yoga Center and was greeted by Taj, the owner. The Center was a soothing place. Taj looked at her strangely. Rachael wondered why people sometimes looked at her that way. It was a look of knowing, as if they knew something she didn't. His gaze followed her as she hung her coat and scarf. He watched from the doorway as she entered the meditation room and sat down quietly. Candles were lit on the small altar against the far wall in the separate meditation room. Several others sat in lotus positions. Rachael took several long quiet breaths and relaxed into meditation. When at last she opened her eyes and reoriented herself, she turned slowly looking around the room and found Matthew sitting to her right,
