The Fox and The Baby

The giant red fox snarled towards the team, Mimi flipped out her ninja machetes, ready to slice the fox if it got close. Whereas the other three ran.
"How are yall gonna leave me!" asked Mimi as she began running after her so-called friends, "And where is Vanessa"?
Vanessa was already running zigzags between the bamboo with the baby hamster in her arms.
"Is so cute," she yelled curling the furball in her arms.
Just as the fox approached the escaping Mimi, she created a flash of light in its eyes. It whimpered, smashing its head around. The moment gave her time to nearly catch up with the rest. Each tremble upon the ground sent a signal to the players. A small green and black screen appeared for each of them. The signals allowed odd figures to appear on the radar.
Logan was familiar with the patterns being hamster caves. He called out directing everybody where to run. Luckily Vanessa heard well which direction to run. Unfortunately, Mimi was nearly being eaten again.
Mimi spun quickly to throw a shuriken at the fox's nose. The damage was minimal.
She tripped back watching the fox's teeth come closer. Dani fired at a rapid rate. Like pebbles, her bullets struck the fox. It ran towards her for a bite, allowing Mimi to run towards the hamster cave.
Just as the fox came near, Dani shot a large explosive in its nose. The impact wasn't fatal by any means. Scratching its nose, the fox whimpered again.
Logan and Kiki were already in the hole. Vanessa jumped in with the baby. Mimi and Dani ran behind knowing they were the real ones.
Right when they jumped into the hamster hole, to fox scratched in after them.
"Keep running!" yelled Logan.
"Yo, f**k this trial," said Mimi.
Running for her life next to Mimi, Dani couldn't help sharing her cougar trials, "I remember having to fight for a mountain for my trial".
"Slaughtered an entire village while they were farming," answered Mimi regarding her tiger trials.
Reading the radar, Kiki and Logan realized the tunnel was coming to a dead end. There was another tunnel that ran near. But they would have to dig to get to it. Looking back, the fox was digging in closer. Mimi and Dani caught up, lost as ever.
"We have to dig!" yelled Vanessa squeezing the fluffy scurrying baby in her arms.
Dani wasn't about that digging life, vouching to shoot instead. Everybody else except Vanessa began scratching at the furthest end of the tunnel with their bare hands.
They banged their fingers against the tunnel. The earth crumbled away to their feet. Vanessa thought to use it to wake a wall until Logan informed her by experience that it was going to fail.
The fox dug out the tunnel, nearly grabbing Dani. Right when Logan yelled at Dani that her bullets were useless, the tunnel broke down into a cave. Everybody including Dani fell down into an abyss of nothing.

"Nice, you're a certified hamster lover," said Logan staring up from the pile of dirt.
"I'm always a hamster lover!" squealed Vanessa with her cute baby and legs in the air.
"Let it go, Logan," demanded Kiki feeling the fluff of dirt ease the blisters on her fingers.
"Bro, I dead a*s broke a nail," said Mimi.
Dani tried to comfort Mimi by letting her know she put in most of the work in digging. Yet, Vanessa's cuddly hamster was a distraction. Its beady eyes stared into the cave while it lightly kicked to run. Both girls tried to comfort it from scurrying so much.
"It's a trial, not a theme park," said Logan before loud fox barking was heard.
"Vanessa, Logan's right. We need to run before they get to us," said Kiki now standing, brushing her hands and legs.
Vanessa let the baby run loose to lead them to its destination. The little critter dashed onward for its life, leading the girls into a chase. Kiki having noticed why Logan was still laying in the soft dirt asked what was wrong. It was strange to him that they had those radars that seemed to react to movement from everybody as well as the ability to dig well. Alone this was a strange phenomenon given that they no longer had the radars at that moment.
Rising to his feet, Logan also noted that they outran a fox despite their physical abilities being greatly reduced. Kiki further noted Vanessa was only able to catch the hamster because they were already ahead of it. Easily the two deducted that Vanessa was able to give them hamster abilities by holding the baby hamster. Knowing this, they sprinted to catch up to their team.
Mimi and Vanessa sprinted after the baby. Both breathed heavily as their sweat flew back. Dragging her feet, Dani mumbled her hate for running. Fuel to ran remained empty even as Kiki and Logan ran past her.
A stench of crushed wood filled the tunnel. The sign of hamster life was assuring for everybody except Dani who stubbornly walked. Logan trotted back towards her unsurprised by her laziness.
"You talk all that s**t about me and Hakim. Yet here you are," said Logan.
Coming to a stop, Dani answered, "You have known me for years". She smacked her hands repetitively, "You know I don't give a s**t about cardio! You see me get dragged outside on an electric scooter to ride in your funky a*s trailer park"!
Logan was allowing Dani to latch onto his back when she continued, "Dani doesn't do cardio, Logan! Never! Ever! f**k your cardio! And f**k everybody else's cardio"!
His speed down the tunnel caused a breeze to blow away Dani's sweat as she bickered, "You want me to do something? give me something to blow up! Then tell me how many of your friends can do that"!

In the far front, Kiki managed to get Mim and Vanessa in her sight.
"Catch that baby!" she yelled.
Vanessa wanted to but was too slow to even come near. Their only reassurance was the strong wood chip scent.
The baby hamster jumped down into a tunnel going downwards. The girls tried to stop but slid down after it instead. Standing alone, Kiki decided she had no choice to do the same.
Approaching the hole with Dani on his back, Logan was nearly exhausted for carrying little ole Dani. He looked down realizing the hole was merely a slide that possibly led to the other hamsters.
After propping Dani to his shoulders, Logan eased himself down the slide after the girls.
