Mama and Papa were happy and excited for me; more than I had ever seen before. Mama and Granny swooned over my ring and new clothes. I noticed that they were wearing new dresses too but never had the chance to comment.
Papa agreed to go straight to Father Cassidy, we were to meet them at the church at five unless Lord Tumlus heard from him that he was unable to help us today.
We left for Tumlus House to see Theodore’s parents, I wanted to ride to show him I was able to ride a horse as well as he could. I used one of the hotel’s horses and we galloped playfully across the countryside, through the rivers and the wood, laughing and racing, having great fun all the way.
