I threw on a regular tee, having no idea what Antonio had planned for us—or even where we were going. But I wasn’t worried. Unlike Adrian and his other men, Antonio seemed more relaxed, almost laid-back. I had no doubt I was in safe hands.
Antonio told me to meet him in the penthouse garage, and for some reason, it didn’t even cross my mind to mention that I had never been there before. Thankfully, one of the hotel guides who had brought in my luggage showed me the way.
