THE CENTRAL NURSING HOME, MINNEAPOLIS. The old blind woman, Miss Anuradha Malhotra sat next to a window. She was immersed in her knitting. Though she could feel the direct sunlight on her face, she couldn’t see anything. Though the loss of vision was a huge dilemma, she nonetheless didn’t give up on her will to survive.    She knitted while singing a sweet melody that she used to sing to her child, Niti when she was small. Remembering the time when Niti used to hide behind her when everything went wrong gave her giggles.  She then continued her singing, “Hush, baby, don’t say a word.
