(NITI'S P.O.V.) 'There's only darkness in this room. Where did Joanne go? I am pretty sure I was talking to him a moment ago. What happened?' I blurted out as I stood from the bed upon which I had been laying. I walked towards the switchboard to turn on the light, but it was only then that I noticed the switches didn't work.  Since my childhood, I have been extremely afraid of darkness and thunderstorms. So, I banged on the door and screamed, "Xander? Are you there? Please open up. I'm scared."  It had been a minute or so that I had been calling out for him, but nobody seemed to have come to the rescue. Hopeless, I perched on the cold floor, near the door.
