The Prison

Tamara is dreaming peacefully. In her dreams she was on her bed with her parents reading her a unicorn story.

She was so happy in her dreams when suddenly four unknown people barge into their house, they grabbed her parents roughly forcing them away from her but all she can do is screamed for help, for some reason nobody can't hear her even her parents and the four unknown men.

Strangely , a man is watching her from the corner aware of her screams but he's not doing anything just stared at her as the four men take away her parents.

Suddenly she heard a voice from the outside of her bedroom asking for help. it was her grandfather all battered and bruise, she opened the window to help her grandfather but she can't.

She just screamed injustice when her grandfather lay down near the window and stared at her with his lifeless eyes.

She screamed with all her might because she can't do anything to save her parents and grandfather while in the far corner a man just stood there unmoving aware of all what happened but didn't even care to help her, instead he smiled.

Fear crept into Tamara just by seeing the man smiled, she thinks that this man was the reason for her loved ones death, to save herself she run with all her might just to get outside her room.

She thinks she's almost outside her room but the room keeps spinning around like an endless kalaidescope, stopping her.

Though she didn't stopped from running, she run and run until she got tired, out of nowhere the man appeared in front of her smiling.

Scared she changed her direction and ran as fast as she could towards the door of her room but before she could even run the man grab her , stopping her from moving.

Then he whispered, " You can't run from me, forever"

She bolted upright in her bed, bullets of sweat is trailing down from her temples, horrified of her dreams she remembered the past wherein she saw her grandfather killed by unknown right before her eyes, at first she thought it was a dream but then when she woke up police officers was inside her house investigating the scene of crime and his grandfather was there dead in the kitchen.

According to police, that night they were robbed and to protect her, her grandfather fought the culprit but ending dead in the process. Shocked with the scene, Tamara became mute for years not until she was adopted by Mace parents and she was brought back again.

To ease her inner turmoil she tried to get up so that she can drink water and freshen herself bu as she stood, she can't even move away far away like something is holding her down.

She realized something cold is touching her right foot and there she saw a chain holding her down.

As she surveyed the surroundings she refused to believe that she was in a cell with one bed and a faucet ,but its the truth.

Memories of last night flooded her mind making her believe that this is happening to her but many questions lingers in her mind like, what the f**k is this supposed to be? She's kidnapped right? not some random criminal to begin with.

Where's the heck is she and where's her husband right now? . All she can think right now is that its that man's fault because from what she heard last night they were going home with HER and she didn't expected to be treated like this by just a random stranger.

I'm so freaking lucky, she thought first the ruined honeymoon next is this. Do I deserved to be treated like this? she thought glumly and what about those people in the mansion , what do they want?

Deep in her thoughts she didn't notice a jailguard opened her cell to deliver her daily food, a bread and water, and left before she even noticed him.

Tired of thinking and famished she just lay in her bed and close her eyes unaware that food is in inside the cell.

Debate room is the area in the Courthouse wherein the leader of the territory discussed political matters with the three Elders , the one in charge of the Courthouse, and selected high ranking officials in the territory.

As the commander of the leader Kagan is also present in the meeting. It's been a week since they raid the island wherein the unknown cult should been there but instead they retrieved a woman whom they've been holding in a cell for a week now.

They cannot let the woman let loose in the territory or it will endanger all the people living here. Also they need answers from that woman if she was part of that cult.

" Kagan how's the woman doing?" Arkos asked his commander.

" Leader, according to the reports she's not responsive at all, for the past days she didn't even touch her food" Kagan reported.

" Why isn't she eating?" Arkos asked darkly.

" Maybe she wants to die because she realized she can't leave the territory unless she tell us everything about that cult" one of the member of high ranking officials commented.

" Or it's their conviction of death instead of telling us everything about them" Alger one if the elders said.

Arkos highly doubt that woman is killing herself besides she's the wife of Stefan, anytime from now he will find her no matter what and she will be a good bait.

His concern is that woman's drama for starving herself almost a week. He needed her so that he can hunt down those bastards who killed his people months ago and he will make sure those bastards will pay.

" What about the man you captured? Is he dead? Any information you can get from him besides that woman?" Gabriel the highest official in the territory after Arkos, asked.

" As of now he's still unconscious" Arkos replied.

" Why? Is he immortal?"

" No he's just a human weakling" Kagan replied Gabriel.

" Yes the woman and that man is valuable in our investigation, the woman is the wife of Stefan and the man is with the people we raided a week ago but we should not let our guards down at this time we may not know that those people will attacked us anytime now just to rescue our prisoners. Kagan heightened the security of the boundaries near our territories and make sure all our mens are aware of the situation and ensure them to be vigilant at all times to ensure the safety of our people." Arkos commanded.

" Yes leader" Kagan saluted.

" Gentlemen, regardless of the matters that needed to be done. Today I would like to strategize with all of you so that the incidents months ago will never happen again" Arkos proposed to all of the people in the room, they all agreed and the meeting goes on.

Meanwhile their discussion lasted a day discussing about matters that involved the territory.
