CHAPTER 28 | Aiden –––––––– * * * * The twins should’ve started their first riding lesson over an hour ago and I’m still stuck in a staff meeting. Crazy as it sounds, I usually enjoy these things. It’s an opportunity to catch up with the guys and find out what’s working—and not working—with our schedules and job duties. But today I can’t settle. I still have Praise to ride and invoices to sign off on and probably two or three more things I’m forgetting. And now you’ve missed the twins’ first riding lesson, I think, trying not to frown. I know they’re in good hands. I asked around about Libby Dale and she’s supposed to be a genius with children. She runs some sort of therapeutic riding center on the weekends and teaches riding lessons on the side. Her schedule’s as jammed-packed as mine
