Chapter 4

Camille was walking along the labs with Whitney after a class when a Sudden force pushed her and she almost tripped but Someone caught her.

"Be more careful dude", Skye shouted at Williams who was running.

Williams turned

"Next time watch your steps newbie"he continued running out

"Huh!,..watch my steps?, what insolence "

"Sorry about that, he's in a hurry because the volley ball training will begin in a minute ", Skye explained

"I...erm..thanks. Aren't you going as well?", she swallowed hard and tightly held the edge of her skirt

"I should but i wanted to make sure you're okay."He smiled

Camille smiled unconsciously

"Sure"

Syke ran off and Camille stared till he was out of sight

"I can't wait to graduate so i won't be seeing this hoodlums"Whitney sighed

"Hoodlums?", she faced Whitney

"Yeah. They're practically annoying "

"The one who pushed me, imagine he asked me to be careful next time "

"He's williams Lagford"

"Who cares about his damn surname?, he's so irresponsible "

Whitney laughs

"Someone's got an enemy already hhm"

"Lets not talk about him. It pisses me off"

"Same here. I wonder how Sephora coped"

"What do you mean?"

"Lets not talk about them. So did you understand today's class?"

"Yeah. French isn't that simple but it's fun though "

"Oui"

Camille titters

"Try me"

"je suis etudiante?"

"I am a student "

"That's good Cam. I'm happy you're understanding french"

"I think i know a little Korean language as well"

"You also take that class?"

"Its fun learning new language and that's why i want to be a linguist "

"You're such a determined soul"

"Gamsahamnida", she bowed slightly

"What does that mean?"

"Thank you "

"I'm gonna learn a lot from you"

At the volley ball court

Sephora bumped into Camille.

"Hi guys", Camille waved

"What are you doing here?", Sephora asked in disgust

"I..erm..i cam..."

"Don't tell me your also trying to get Williams attention?", Amber interrupted

Camille chuckles

"Why would i think of even befriending that uncultured irresponsible guy when i have a decent boyfriend ", Camille defended

"Did you just downgrade williams?"

Seph asked

"You lack maners", Amber insulted

"..and what's going on here?", came williams voice from behind

Camille turned to him and rolled her eyes. Williams came closer

"She just downgraded you", Amber reported

Williams looked at Camille for a long second. His lips twitched, as though he wanted to laugh.

Camille folded her arms.

"What?"

Williams took another step closer.

"So..." he said. "You're still angry about earlier?"

Camille scoffed.

"You shoved me to the floor."

"I didn't shove you on purpose."

"You still blamed me."

Williams rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.

"...Yeah. That part was my fault." then he smiles.

"I shouldn't have blamed you"

Camille stares at him...

For a moment. She hated to admit it—but he actually looked kind of cute when he apologized.

There was an awkward silence. Everyone stared... Williams coughed.

Camille looked away shyly

"Whatever".she hurried away

"Hey seph aren't you having music lessons?"

Williams asked.

Sephora clenched her fist, bit her lower

"She downgraded you and you stood before me, apologizing to her?, i mean, who does that?"

"I bumped into her few minute ago and i was apologizing for that"he shrugged "...Huh!. wait why am i even explaining myself to you when i've got better things to do" Williams moved towards the entrance

"You flirted with her in my very before"she faced him."how many more damage will you do to my heart?"

Williams stopped instantly and faced her.

"Last i recalled, you're my ex and i've moved on, why can't you?"

"I still want us back Wils, i like you very much and i can't seem to let go of everything we had.I need you please",Sephora begged

"Go tell that to Skye",

"I just had a crush on him, its you i like"

"Sephora you can't have your cake and eat it. We're done!", he walked into the court

Sephora sighed in regret

"He'll come around Seph. Just give him time", Amber consoled

Sephora gave a quick glance at Amber and stomped away

Lydia is having a drink with her bestfriend.

Queen laughs after Lyd cracked a joke

"That's funny lyd, i mean was she that dump?, how could she not know her husband was the bartender?"

"It got me laughing the whole day i swr. So, how's Sofie?"

"Poor girl, she's been studying for med school."

"Isn't that a bit too early?, She hasn't graduated from high school yet and she's already studying for the college med school entrance exams?"

"I've tried talking her out of it, but it seems i'm the bad guy. Huh. Teens these days are so annoying and unpredictable"

"I thought i was the only victim"

"Speaking of which, how's Cassian?"

"That boy is the death of me. So brutal with words". Lyd sipped her wine

"Still about the saga?"

"Yah"

"Don't beat yourself up, you had to do that because of the situation plus love"

Lydia frowns

"And he abandoned me now i'm left with a family who doesn't love me. My son hates me more than anything else in this world"

"It's been five years now, so let it go lyd. Norman didn't love you"

"But what we shared was real"

"The i***t is happy with his life, perhaps he doesn't even remember you. He lives his own life with a new woman and kids. Wait a second, do you still love him?", Queen raised a brow.

Lydia wipes the little tears that had already rolled down her checks. She lets out a dry chuckle, then walks toward the pool.

"I don't know ", she folded her arms

Queen walked up to her

"It's okay"

Lydia turned and fell into Queen arms, letting the prisoned tears of five years ago flow out.

Queen patted her gently.

"I'll find him and make him pay"

Lydia wiped her tears

"Don't. You won't see a trace of him"

"Trust me lyd, my husband has connections

"So do mine. I've searched for him for five years and it's fruitless. What if something bad happened to him?"

"Forget him lyd"
