The rest of Cake’s remarkable holiday went smoothly. Deciding to stay in Cambodia, Ravuth spends most of his time with his family in the village. After calling Colin, who, although disappointed, was pleased for him, Ravuth began construction on a house after Oun gave him a plot of land. With the cost of living in Cambodia cheap, he knew he had enough money to last him until he found work and that an English speaking Cambodian chef with experience in European baking and Thai food would be an asset to any restaurant in Phnom Penh.
