Logan, looked around his pool area and into the deep valley of Los Angeles, if there was anything he love about his house it was the view. He had everything anyone could possibly want and all that was from his time in the Force and of course, some well placed investments, and now here he was set for life and retired at thirty two Custom built home, designer clothes, expensive cars and a woman when he needed one, yet he was starting to feel incomplete. Pulling his glasses from his eyes, Logan sighed moving to his outdoor kitchen fixing himself a glass of Scotch. His live-in housekeeper and cook wouldn't be back till the weekend and his mom and older sister were all the way in Hawaii. His home was empty and at a certain point he would kill for this silence, but now it was eating away at his heart. Picking up his latest version of iPhone, he dialed Stacy Darling, model and personal f$ck buddy, but he was transferred to voicemail. Cursing under his breath he marched into his house knowing he would have to find comfort some place else. Arriving at the bar, a little past four in the afternoon he took a seat and the owner a former mate smiled at him. “A little early today Logan,” Chris ‘Click’ Johnson said fixing him a glass of whiskey. “Good to see you Click,” He said giving him a man hug. Logan, looked around the bar, probably looking for a woman to warm his bed tonight. Chris saw Logan's wandering eyes and shook his head, “Its a slow day today and most of all a Tuesday”. Logan, shook his head throwing back his whiskey sighing heavily as he did that. ”The bachelor lifestyle getting tiring, eh?”. It wasn't a question and Logan, didn't answer him. “Chief was here a few days ago looking for you”. Logan's head shot up and his unwavering blue eyes pierced Chris. “And it couldn't be the first thing you told me”. “You just looked preoccupied”. Chris said with a taunting smile. He was the operation leader back in the day and in his forties one of the only view to survive the deadly mission. Logan ran his hand through his brown locks, waiting for the incorrigible man and Chris was taking his sweet time. “Said to meet him at his office in San Francisco on Friday”. Chris finally let out. “ Anything else?” Logan asked, his eyes not able to hold anger, at the smirking face of Chris. Chris shook his head and Logan tossed back his drink and was out of the bar in a jiffy, both nervous and anticipating his former chief words. ******* DON'T FORGET TO VOTE, COMMENT AND SHARE.
