Chapter 1

Rosie POV

" Sweetheart are you excited to be starting 9th grade?" My dad asked me, I was currently in LA with my dad. I spent almost every summer with my dad for the past 3 years. My dad was an actor. He was in so many movies and it was awkward going to a movie and then some random person talks about how hot your dad is.

"Yeah I guess i am." i muttered and went back to reading the book i was holding.

"You dont seem excited.. Are you okay sweetheart?" I never really told my parents how school life was for me. Not like it mattered anyways.

"Yeah i am excited, I heard they were building a new library and well that is what i look forward to" I chuckled and my dad got up and went into the house. He returns shortly after With a box in his hands

"Here, You Might Need It When You Start School." I opened the box and pulled out some pepper spray. I gave him a look.

"Seriously dad?" He shrugged and I laughed as I continued to take out the things in the box. The next thing was a hoodie.

"I got that in London and thought it would perfect for you." Considering it was a crop top maybe he didn't realize and I don't want to bring it up just in case he takes it back. Majority of it were clothes and shoes but at the very bottom of the box was a smaller box and I reached in and grabbed it. Revealing a very beautiful bracelet.

"That is custom made. It's to let you know that no matter where you are daddy will be there in a heartbeat when you need me" tears were forming and goodbyes are always the hardest when it comes to my dad. Can't blame me I'm a daddy's girl after all.

"Thanks Dad. It's beautiful I love it." I Have my dad a hug and well knowing my dad he was probably wiping the stray tear that was trying fall.

"Alright you'll be late for your flight and I'm sure you're Mom and dad misses you."  We arrived to the airport and there I was at my gate waiting to board the plane.  I gave my dad one last hug and he gave me a kiss on the forehead and told me to call him whenever and he'll come running. 

"Goodbye Sweetheart I love you. Be Careful and call me okay?" I nodded and grabbed my things and waited in line.

I boarded the plane a couple minutes after and I got settled into my seat. 

Well goodbye Los Angeles See You next summer. Then I made my journey home.

We finally hit home and I was at the baggage claim waiting for my luggage to come through. I finally got it and made my way towards the loading zone. I looked at my phone and saw that my dad sent me a message asking if I landed. I sent a quick reply and I heard my name across the airport.

"ROSIE!" I looked up to see my little brother, mom and dad a few feet away. My brother started to run towards me, he soon landed in my arms and he engulfed me in a hug.

"Oooh hey kiddo!, how have you been?" i ruffled his hair as he gave me a cheeky smile.

"I missed you roro! thank goodness you came back! mom has been sulking ever since you left."

i looked up and saw my mother, as beautiful as ever. She gave me a big hug and she started to tear up a bit. She was squeezing me and honestly it was starting to hurt.

"M-Mom i c-cant b-breathe"

"oops" she released her death grip and i locked eyes with my dad. Dad had a bouquet of roses. He handed them to me and embraced me.

"I missed you Rosie-Posie" I held onto my dad tightly.

"I missed you too dad" He kissed the top of head and grabbed my luggage and we made our way out of the airport. Mom kept talking about back to school shopping.

"Rosie i know you are tired but is there anything specific you want to eat for dinner tonight. I have to go grocery shopping anyways if you want to tag along."

"I am kind of tired momma, i was wondering if i can just go buy some clothes and shoes for school."

"Of course you can baby, Did you drive around LA during the summer?" I nodded and continued to take the earbuds out of my bag.

"So i know that you will be starting school pretty soon, i actually have a surprise for you when we get home." I smiled at my dad and plugged in and drowned myself in music.

We arrived home and I couldn't wait to jump into bed and sleep.

I Was Left To unpack the rest of the day and well they were all new clothes because dad went a little overboard on shopping abroad. I was already unpacked and I decided since it was a beautiful day outside I was going to the park and read.

I grabbed my book and my phone I texted my parents letting them know that I left the house.  I walked to the nearest park, . I heard kids playing a couple feet away. I was getting to the good part of my book and thats when I felt water start to drip slowly. I looked up and the once sunny sky was now completely covered in gray clouds and the thunder clap roared murderously.

I quickly grabbed my phone and book and rushed out of the park just as everyone was leaving. It took about 2 minutes before the rain started to splatter eventually leading to a downpour.

Damn it, now i had no choice but to start running. I placed my book inside my cardigan so it wouldnt get wet.

I finally reached home. i opened the door to find my dad waiting by the stairs.

"Rosie-Posie, I was going to show you the surprise i got you but go get changed first." One thing i love about my dad? He never beats around the bush. He gets straight to the point.

I turned on the shower and let myself relax as the warm water hits my skin.

I quickly got out and got dressed. Tied my hair up into a messy bun and made my way downstairs.

"There's My Baby girl. Alright now close your eyes" my dad wrapped a fabric around my eyes and started to lead in the direction towards my surprise.

I felt the cold breeze hit and I eventually stopped raining. I felt the blindfold slip off and i opened my eyes.

"Do you like it?" In front of me was a beautiful Range Rover. I was more of a jeep kind of girl or BMW but i loved range rovers.

"I love it dad. thank you." i hugged my dad, My dad took a picture of me and i sent it to my dad in LA. I was excited to drive it. I got my license and well i dont have to use the driver to take me to school. I talked to my parents and they agreed that i should live a normal life.

"Hey dad, now that i have my license i was wondering if i could use your car sometime. The rover looks like it would drive well in snow but the BMW is also a 4x4 and it can drive well in snow?" my dad chuckled.

"Of course baby, I usually work from home or i have Charles driving me to meetings. " I couldn't conceal my joy and well my dad and i walked back into the house. He told me he had work to do and told me to rest up since school was on Monday.

I jumped onto my bed and charged my phone after talking to my dad. I turned on netflix and i just laid in bed watching the Vampire Diaries. ( Team Damon)

I felt my eyes start to get heavy and i welcomed sleep. Big day ahead of me tomorrow.

"RORO!!!" i jolted up and pathetically fell off my bed.

*Umphf* "What?! what happened?" I asked frantically, Aiden was laughing his butt off. Mom and dad both ran up the stairs.

"Whats going on up here?" Mom said, trying to contain her laughter. Dad on the other hand looked concerned. He made his way towards me and picked me up.

"You okay baby girl?" I peered over and mom was chuckling and rolling her eyes.

"Daddy's girl" She muttered.

"Mommy, am i your favorite then? i am a mommy's boy after all." My mom looked down at aiden who had doe eyes sparkling towards her.

"Yes, Its me and you Aiden, your father and sister always leave us out anyways" both my mom and brother stuck their tongues out and now me and dad were rolling our eyes. Seriously how does dad put up with moms childish ways sometimes?

"Thats alright, You weren't  part of the cool crowd to begin with, Its always been Rosie-Posie and i" My dad retaliated. I smirked at my mom and brother as mom was starting to run out of comebacks

"Whatever, for that you arent getting any breakfast" My mom retorted as she grabbed Aidens hand and made their way downstairs.

"Okay! me and Rosie-Posie were going out on a daddy daughter date anyways!" My dad winked at me and kissed my head. I heard my mom gasp and just yelled "Go ahead" from downstairs. Normally my family wasn't this weird. Guess today was my lucky day

"get ready baby girl, Its you and your old man today." I nodded and got up and got ready. After 20 mins i was ready and headed downstairs.

Dad was downstairs waiting. He was dressed casually. Jeans and a fitted t shirt. and some converses. Im afraid people are going to think hes my brother instead.

" You look pretty" i smiled and hugged my dad.

"So baby girl, wanna drive? or should i?"

"Um you can drive i can drive back." 

My dad grabbed the keys and the car roared to life.

"So What Are We Doing today" I asked my dad who was singing (Off key might i add) to Calypso By Luis Fonsi. 

"Well i was thinking we could buy you some school on monday and maybe get something to eat. I actually have been wanting to talk to you about the company gatherings" 

I knew i couldn't the company gatherings and well anything related to the company. I am an Heiress and well i couldn't  avoid no matter how much I've tried" 

After about  2 hours of us shopping for clothes. Dad and i made it to the restaurant. I could've settled for a burger but i guess steak it is. 

"Okay so Baby girl, The company is trying to tie up this deal with our foreign chains. I wanted to pass the company down to you after you finish school and go to business school. They know i have a daughter and well they made us a proposition, they wanted to see if you would try to woo their youngest son. I disagreed full heartily but this deal could make the company the best in Europe and Asia. You can say no baby, I am not trying to force you to do anything." 

"What was the proposition?" I love my dad and he was smart, but i know he wasnt the type to just force things onto me. He would ask me if i was comfortable. 

" To have a date with CEO Jins son. Just a date. His son will be taking over his fathers company and well since you are my oldest daughter he wanted to see if we are trustworthy enough. If we make this deal, you would be seeing each other often for business meetings. I heard he wasn't an easy person to woo and well i am confident that you might just change that."

"How so?"

"Baby girl every since you were little you i knew you would be the girl that will break hearts later on with her beauty but not only that but you have wisdom and the grace. You have the mindset of a leader and i know that CEO Jins son will take a liking to you. If not as a lover than as a dear friend." 

" Of course you do not have to do it sweetheart. CEO Jin will understand, It wasn't his proposition to begin with."

"Then whose was it?"

"It was his son."

I was wondering how it would go if i said no but my i looked at my dad and instantly knew that no matter what i said my dad would respect it. 

"I'll do it" 

"are you sure sweetie?" 

"Yes dad, besides maybe i might make a friend" i smiled sadly and my dad mirrored my expression

"Okay baby, i'll call them and let them know that you agreed." i nodded and finished up my food. 

After we finished we made it home and mom and Aiden were sitting in the living room watching a movie.

"Hey where'd y'all go today?" mom asked but got up and went to the kitchen.

"I made dinner, are you hungry?"

"No thank you mom, we already ate." my dad went over and kissed my mom and explained to her what happened today. i took it as my cue to leave. I walked upstairs and set all my bags on the floor.

i heard a knock on my door, My mom peeped her head and asked if she can talk to me.

" So your dad already told me what happened today? i wanted to see what you think and well i wanted to see if you changed your mind. Sweetheart you know your dad would never put you in a- "

"I know mom, i already told dad that i was okay with the idea. I know dad would never do anything without my consent and for that i am grateful. I love dad and i decided to do this for him, besides its one date. Who knows by the end of the day i might have a friend."

"I know sweetie, your fathers and i are sorry that we put so much pressure on you."

"Not at all mom, I am glad i can do this for dad."

"You truly are a dream come true Rosie" She kissed my head and she got up and made her way out.

"Oh yeah, tomorrow is family fun day. We are going to the fair. so get some sleep, we'll leave around noon." 

After my mom left i fell asleep the same as i always have. Watching the Vampire diaries.

Aaron's POV

It was 3am and i was sneaking out of this girls house. She was hot and it was a wild night but doubt i'd ever see her again. I was climbing out of her window and my foot got stuck on the something. I tried to not make so much noise. I landed on the ground and I quickly left through the back gate. I made it out of her house and turned the corner of her street where Damon was waiting in his black SUV. 

I jumped into the car and Dean was asleep but jolted in surprise. Damon just had an annoyed expression on his face.

"My foot got stuck."

"You suck at sneaking out, dude."

"Like you can do any better. its pitch black outside and you were trying to stay as quiet as possible."

"Bro, you do know who i am right? i never get caught." Damon smirked and started driving out of her neighborhood.

"Do you even know her name?" Um now that i think about it i dont think i did know.  I looked at Damon with a confused look. He didn't seemed surprised he just shook his head.

"Sometimes i wonder how we are even related. You have an IQ Of a chicken."

"Are you calling me dumb?" 

"Wasn't calling you smart so you figure it out."

i rolled my eyes and looked towards the backseat where dean was sleeping.

"Why'd he come?"

"I dont know he said he was bored and wanted some food."

"Who's gonna get food at 3am?"

"I dont know he fell asleep anyways"

We were driving back to the house and then Damon broke the silence,

"Bro, there's a fair tomorrow and Dean wanted to go with his friends, i wanted to see if you'd ta along just to keep him in check?"

"Why cant you go?" Damon's jaw clenched and i knew what it meant.

"Another one?" He nodded and just continued to drive,

" I'll come by after the fight to pick you both up, so can you go with him?"

i nodded and got out the car. I hear Damon waking dean up. I walked into the house and straight to my room. I jumped in the shower and then went to bed. 

I put my phone to charge and went to bed. Hoping tomorrow doesn't suck.

The next day i hear a loud knock on my door. I ignored it once but this time there was a voice behind it. 

"Aaron! get up we are going to the Fair! get ready i wanna be there around noon." I looked at my phone to check what time it was, Dumb a*s woke me up at 8. Seriously?"

"Alright! i'm up." i heard Dean mutter finally and i heard him descend down the stairs. I quickly got ready and made my way downstairs where Dean was waiting.

"Finally lets go already," Dean threw me the keys and we made our way to the fair. 

"Well how long are you planning on staying at the fair for?" i found a parking space close to the fair grounds, Dean and his friends scattered out of the car. They couldnt contain their excitement

"7?" He wasnt serious was he?

"Cmon Aaron, School starts tomorrow anyways today is the only day we can come before they pack up everything." One thing was forsure i can never say no to Dean. He was the youngest and well he has Damon and me wrapped around his finger. He is after all our baby brother.

"Alright i'll be around, call me if you need me" i handed him $200 and he left towards the ticket stand.

I was exhausted. And i wasnt even doing anything. Here i am at the food stands trying to get something to eat. My phone started to ring and it was Damon calling. 

"Hey bro, you at the fair?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I am coming to pick up Dean and his friends." 

"Alright," He hung up and i decided to look for Dean and his friends.

After searching almost the whole entire fair grounds i ended back to the food stands. I looked around and my eyes wandered to the most beautiful scene in front of me. She was sitting on the bench with a book in her hands. She was sharing her funnel cake with kid. 

"Aaron!" I turned around to see who was calling me but it was Damon. I turned back around only to find her gone. I looked around to see if she was around but she wasn't. My mood suddenly faltered. Dean and his friends had left with Damon and I left the fair grounds, My mood faltered instantly. 

Will I ever see her again? Or was she a figment of my imagination? 

I really hope it was the first one.
