Chapter 3: Those Stares

Christian saw how his mom left him. Now, he is with the servants and five secretaries that will protect and help him as the CEO also an heir of the Lim-Carillo Properties.

He glanced to the old lady that was beside him. He uttered while standing and watching how the car of his mom gone to his sight. “Let them have some rest.”

The old servant bowed and said, “as you wished master.” And walks toward the five men that were waiting.

“I guess you heard what Chairman Christian Carillo just said.” She paused for a while and glanced toward the hallway. Then she added, “I don’t need to repeat it right?”

Iesher moved his hair unto his right ear and said, “where heard it and this day was so intense.”

Before they went to their respective rooms they looked unto Christian who is still not moving to the place where he was. “I should live that life that was destined to me.” Then this Chairman sighed. “There are lots of employees that I need to take care with.” Those words bothered him. Especially that he was not fully aware of how a werewolf should be. Especially controlling his self on some other things.

As the five men was led to their rooms they were amazed of how huge the house was. “Definitely that this is a mansion!” Screemed by Second Evan.

“Is this your first time to went this kind of place?” Teased by Christian Arniel.

Second Evan immediately wipe his finger in a huge family picture on the hallway. “If not, do you think I will tell it?” His brows met with anger.

Then the old servant interrupted the commution and said while finding the key on her pocket. “Nah, stop that argument. Remember the reason why you are working to Chairman Christian.” And she picked the key and inserted it to the door hole. “Unity is important here.” And she opens it with her two hands.

And those men uttered, “we are so sorry.”

The old servant smiled at them then tapped their shoulders. “Don’t be sad, everything has a room for improvement.” Before the old lady gone unto their sight she uttered, “remember the reason why you all here ok?” And a wave her old skinned right arm as a sign to them that she left the room.

Cris lend his sight on the door, looking if the old woman is still there. As he confirmed that only the five of them is on that huge room they choose their bed respectively. “There is no bed here!” Exclaimed by Ethan.

Then from nowhere Christian appears. “The room is beside that huge mirror.” Then he points the mirror which is beside Iesher.

Cris eyes grew bigger as these words comes out from his mouth, “how can you—“

Then Christian cuts his sentence, “I am the owner of this place and I know all of the stuff here.” Then he walks toward the mirror and the five men where looking at him. As Christian pushes the mirror a door appeared. He moved his head as a sign to the men to go over to him. “Come here.”

“Another hallway?” Exlaimed by Cris.

Second Evan massages his hand on the wall which is beside him. He whispered in a calm voice. “The favor is too much for us.”

Christian went inside the said place and he smiled at them. “All of you deserve that kind of favor.” And they laugh at that moment.

They walk thru it and Christian assigns each men to the room that they will have. While doing it, he also said those works that will be doing by his secretaries. “I have lots of properties.” He paused for a while. “I can’t manage it alone with—“

“you mean being a werewolf?” Said by Ethan. Christian nodded to what Ethan had said to him.

He shoved his shoulder. “I need to accept that kind of fact right?”

Isher suddenly tapped his shoulder and said, “don’t worry we are here to help and protect you.”

Christian sighed with a relief, “yeah, I know.” He pointed the doors of the room that the men saw. “Just choose the room that each one of you wants.”

“Ok, fine.” Uttered by the men.

As Christian left them. They talk aout what is the room that will be assigned to them. “There are lots of doors infront of us.” Uttered bitterly by Arniel.

“And we need to choose.” Added by Ethan.

Iesher went on the other side and his right hand is on the door knob. “That is easy as it is right?”

They immdeiatly went on those room that they feel that they want it. Each one of them feels uneasy of what may the room looked like.

As Second Evan opens the door, he was amazed of what he found out. “A huge room for me.”

He puts the traveler’s bag on the couch. Then Second Evan immediately went to the window that is times two bigger than him. He moved the curtains on the right which he saw a garden that was full of blooming flowers. He took his book and pull the chair towards the window. “A good spot to read some words.” Then sat and opened it.

Fight for your love,

For it will come once.

And treasure every moment,

then it will last.

As he glanced, Second Evan started to wrote some words on the back page of his book. Life may be between courage and love but always have it both until the end. 

And flashed back happens, “those days that I am puzzled my self and to be someone who I am right now. The pain, struggles and perseverance that pushes me to this place.” Then at that moment he stands and feel the beauty of the scenery. “I will always take the opportunity as the secretary of Chairman Christian Carillo to the fullest.”

While Second Evan was having his time, Cris Charles conquer the room beside his fellow secretary. “So soft!” He shouted as he seats and moves his butt like a child who is fun of playing stuffs. “I wonder how prominent are the Lim and Carillo family?” He asked his self.

As he sat on his bed, Cris pulled his guitar from his bad. He smilled as he looked outside of his room where the window is so huge and can see those flowers blown by the wind.

He sang on his own lyrics and chords;

I wonder my life could be,

With these four corners and walls beneath thy secrets.

While this man is focusing on singing he remembered the face of Christian. “Wait, what I am thinking?” He paused for a while and said, “why he was on my mind?” And he stopped playing his guitar. “Calm down Cris Charles, calm down.” He pacified his self.

On the other room, Ethan Lopez started to think on what will be his work as a secretary of Christian. “They told that Christian was a werewolf.” He uttered while he moves the chair beside him. He added, “there are lots of things I need to know about him.” With his nod the bird that was staring unto to him from the other side of the window flew and escape. As Ethan noticed it he walk to that window and stared Christian who is walking to the direction where the fountain was. As their eyes met accidentally, Ethan smiled to him. “No wonder this CEO who was staring at me is a luring one.” And a simple smile was seen by Christian from him.

On the other side, Arniel was glaring to Christian. “Who he was smiling with?” He asked his self. While he stayed on his room and the attractive CEO was near the fountain he started to think with the reactions of Christian, his boss. He moved his head on his left side and said, “why his reaction is that?” He stepped backed and said. “I mean; I don’t care with it.” Telling those words were lies on him. He sneaked on the edge of the window where Christian saw him. “He saw me.” And he started to panic and hide under his bed. Christian smirked as he saw the reaction of Ethan.

Meanwhile, Ieshier goes out from his room thru the huge window. He saw how Christian laughs so he went to the place where the CEO was standing. “It seems you have a good day.” Said by Iesher as he flips his hair.

Christian looks at him and uttered, “I just saw someone who freaked out.” And laughs again.

From that time Iesher’s attention was caught by Christian. “He is not an ordinary man,” whispered by Iesher who started to like his boss.
