Rest evaded Amy. No matter how many times she tossed and turned, she could not catch sleep. Everytime she felt that she was drifting slowly into a light slumber, something would pop in her mind, jerking her awake. Sighing, she sat up on the bed and stared at the glowing walls of her loaned chamber. The subtle blue light was calm. For a moment, she was reminded of the King. The enchantment that made the walls glow was from him, after all. It fluctuated with his mood, but right now, the pulsing of the walls was steady. It made Amy wonder what the King was feeling at the moment. She shook her head and buried her face in her palms. "I shouldn't think of him," she muttered to herself.
