Over the sound of her uncontrollable sobbing, Amy heard the crackle of thunder. Soon after, the spattering of thousands of rain droplets falling against the roof shared her grieving. Nobody died, though. But that was what she felt. Grief. Amy had lost Henri. She'd known it since he pointed his sword at her. She'd known it in the blazing flames of his eyes. She'd known it by the sound of her own heart breaking. And she couldn't do anything about it but cry. The tears didn't seem to end. They kept on pouting and she kept on waiting for her crying to end.
