Simon’s POV
Simon! To Scarlets room! Quickly! I’m awoken by Julie in my head.
I’ll be right there! I dash out of my room in just the shorts I had on and make my way to the hospital wing. My mom and dad join me on the landing of the stairs and we head down together.
“Oh, I hope she is awake,” my mom hopefully states.
I burst into the room to see Scarlet up and awake and smiling at me like nothing has ever happened. I rush into her arms and kiss her passionately. She pulls away and sees the hurt on my face instantly.
“Oh, I just haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”
“I’m so sorry I wasn’t here when you woke up” I pull her forehead to mine with my hands on her cheeks.
“Hey, it’s not like you could just move into a hospital room. You have things to take care of too.”
