I take my mate by the hand and take her down to the dining room. If I thought I was in love with this woman before it is nothing compared to now. Brenden and Jayden follow us so we can figure out where we're going to do the shift and how we are going to keep her safe. As everyone is waiting for their food, talking and laughing about the craziness of the events up to this point, I catch a scent that sends me into rage. I turn to look at the entrance of the dining room to see Clarice walk in. Her eyes set on Scarlet and go wide with the realization that she indeed wasn't human and then her face turns back to the smug look she always carries.
