Mark’s POV
Julie and I fell asleep in the hospital bed together last night. Apparently Simon’s date with Scarlet went well, because she never came back down. I really hope that it did, he said he was going to ask her to move in and I really think that will help their bond and her trust him more. I start getting a little concerned when it’s 9am and I still haven’t seen or heard from them. Scarlet has mastered putting up her block and shutting off her feelings from me, so when I try to reach her I don’t get a response. Julie left about an hour ago to make her patient rounds and just as I open the door to grab a nurse to mindlink Simon I’m met with Scarlet in front of me. Something is different but I can’t put my finger on it.
