Augustus had returned, and he brought some medicine.
"Here."
"Thank you."
I took it from him and drank the medicine. After I swallowed it, I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to feel any change in my body. I could still feel the tension rising. I was still dizzy, and my body felt heavier. So, I slowly lay down.
"Hey, I’m kind of worried. Why did this happen to you all of a sudden? Are you sure you’re okay?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, maybe it’s just like I’m going to get a fever, but I don’t think it’s anything serious. Go ahead and take care of what you need to do. I think I can just sleep this off."
But instead of listening to me, I felt him shift.
"No, I can’t leave you. I need to watch over you. I’ll just work here in our room and check on you from time to time."
