I woke up feeling like my body was floating, as if someone was carrying me. My forehead furrowed, my eyebrows knit together, and I wasn’t sure what was happening because my vision was blurry. I tried to open my eyes wide slowly, but as my sight began to clear, I realized someone was holding me, carrying me. When I looked at the person, he seemed familiar, but I couldn’t distinguish who he was. “W-Who are you? What’s happening? W-here are you taking me?” I asked in succession, my voice slurred and groggy. When he looked down at me, his eyes became familiar. It was like I had seen those eyes before, but I couldn’t place where. Suddenly, he spoke, “I’m taking you back to our home.” Those were the only words he said.
