I run towards the pack house in wolf form after taking down some rogues. They have been coming across territory lines for weeks now. As I reach the house, I put shorts on and walk in. My beta greets me first “alpha, I received a phone call ten minutes ago from alpha Damon of blood moon. Says a rogue was caught on his border. It was a female” he says. I stiffen for a second. “ a female? That’s not possible. Their hasn’t been a rogue female in years” I tell him. Most rogues are males, mostly because females hardly ever get banished or just go rogue. Hearing something like this is startling. “Call him back and arrange a visit. I want to see and question this female” I tell him and he takes off to the office.

Twenty minutes later he comes back and says the visit is scheduled for tomorrow. I go into my room and get undressed, heading for a shower.

It’s 5am when we settle into our cars, off the alpha Damon’s territory. My lycan is restless and pacing in my mind. “Will you stop! Your annoying me” I yell at him. “I can’t help it, something is going to happen. I can feel it” he says before settling down a bit. It takes three hours to get there. As we arrive, I notice a lot of she wolfs gathered on the lawn along with the alpha. It’s the way every pack greets their king. I step out and greet the alpha “king nico, thank you for coming” he says, bowing his head. “Alpha Damon, when I heard a rogue female was found. I had to see for my self” I tell him with a nod. “Of course, please come in king” he says walking into the pack house. As we enter the house, many pack members are roamin about. I tilt my head and walk past them. Alpha Damon stands at the stairs before yelling “Alexandria, come down here !” My wolf hums “Alex”. I shake him off and wait for her to arrive. Heavy steps are heard from upstairs before a beautiful she wolf turns the corner. Her hair is pinned up, she’s wearing jeans and tank top. Her figure is something else. Curves in all the right places. She comes down the stairs before stopping before me. Her head lifts up and our eyes meet. Her blue eyes go wide and I hear a gasp. “Mate, mate” screams my wolf. She scowls at me before taking off up the stairs, skipping the top two and turning the corner. “She’s your mate then” says alpha Damon. I growl at him before going up the stairs. I follow her scent up three flights before reaching a door. I throw it open to find her packing. I take two steps before she speaks up. “Oh no you don’t. You keep your hot ass right there, mister.” She says, going back to what she’s doing. I smirk at her calling me hot. “So you think I’m hot” she rolls her eyes. “That’s what you got out of that, typical alpha “ she says as she stands straight , grabs her bags and tries to walk past me. “Where are you going, mate?” I ask her, grabbing her wrist. She yanks her wrist away and scowls again. That’s a nice look. “I’m leaving” she says and tries to walk away again. “The only way your leaving is with me!” I yell. She stops squirming in my hold and faces me. “Over my dead body, king. Sorry, places to be, people to see. Take care” “ she then starts walking away. My wolf pushes out and grabs her by the neck. Slamming her against the wall. “You will come with me. It’s not a choice. You belong to me now” I yell at her. She quirms for a second before lifting her leg and her knee meeting my …k. “You little .itch” I growl out. She uses this time to back away before running down the hall. I’m faster than her and catch her, throwing her over my shoulder. She kicks and yell’s profanities as I walk down the stairs. I meet the alpha at the bottom. “We’ll be going now alpha Damon”. He shrugs and smirks. “Good luck.” He says as I walk out of the house with my mate on my shoulder.

I knew as soon as I entered that house, she was there. This woman will test me for years. I walk towards the car and meet our driver. “Mike, take us home” I readjust my mate and throw her into the car before getting in myself.
