On a crisp Saturday morning I was walking along a quiet alley with my dog, Fletcher .I strolled along carelessly until Fletcher suddenly bolted racing further down the narrow path .
I sprinted after him, realising with a growing sense of panic that the familiar path was vanishing eventually, I caught with him, trembling with frustration, I gave him a sharp earful, I have never tolerated disobedience.
Stopping to catch my breath I looked around and realized I was completely lost.A sudden gasp escaped my throat looming ahead of us was an abandoned half finished building swallowed by dense, wild overgrowth.
Eerie shadows danced across the shattered windows and a chilling wind began to howl through the concrete structures, suddenly Fletcher started barking fiercely at the pitch-black entrance, the furs along his spine stood.
Absolute terror gripped me .I whipped out my phone, only to find it had zero signal.panic surged through me as I realized I had completely lost my bearings, yanking Fletcher back by his collar I turned around and began to Sprint blindly into the shadows.
After what felt like agonizing hours of pure panic in the maze of twisting paths, I finally signed in relief.
"Thank goodness"I breathed.
