Cam had been away for five days now, on a mission to visit as many packs as he could that had reported missing wolves in the last two years. Obviously, he couldn’t hit them all, but we had tried to plot out a route that would take him to at least 12 different packs. After Cam’s little meeting with Colton, we had decided it made more sense for one of us to go talk to the families of the missing in person, rather than calling pack leaders, just in case the Alphas were involved in orchestrating the disappearances. Cam called me every day with updates, but so far, the pattern was that there was no pattern.
