It had been three days since Cameron and Lexi… did what they did.
I had buried myself in work, and I had to admit, my office looked amazing. All the reports I’d been meaning to review? Finished. That box of paperwork I’d planned to file eventually? Done. The long list of updates to the pack member records? Completed. It was truly an accomplishment.
And yes, sure, Murphy had stopped by a half-dozen times to annoy the s**t out of me about going to see Lexi or talking to Cam, and Lexi had left food outside my office for breakfast and dinner every day, and Cam had sent me at least six texts after I refused to speak to him… but otherwise, I barely even thought about them.
