Fashion After-Party – Sabotage Investigation The sound of murmurs and gasps filled the air as the commotion around the collapsed model continued. She was quickly being tended to by the medical staff, but the tension in the room was undeniable. Isabella stood still, her gaze fixed on the model, while Mercy and Nathan flanked her, ready to take action. Nathan wasted no time. He immediately walked over to the bar, where the remaining staff were frantically cleaning up. His sharp eyes scanned the area, noticing everything—the glasses of water left unattended, the drinks on the counter, the anxious expressions of the bartenders. He turned to the bartender. “Who served the water to the model?” The bartender, a young man with wide eyes, stammered, “I-I didn’t. She was already drinking when she came up to me... She asked for water, and I gave her what was on the table.” Nathan nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing. “Where did this water come from?” The bartender looked at the glass he’d just cleaned. “From that pitcher. The one over there,” he gestured to the side of the bar. Isabella’s attention was now fully engaged. “Who else has drunk from that pitcher?” The bartender hesitated. “A few people… some of the models, I think.” Mercy immediately stepped forward, her expression serious. “The pitcher must have been poisoned then. We need to find out who had access to it.” Nathan turned, his voice firm. “Get security to lock down the venue. No one leaves until we figure this out. Get the staff to collect any glasses and bottles from the bar and serving areas. We need everything for analysis.” As the chaos continued, Nathan and Isabella worked quickly, scanning the guests and staff for anyone who might have had a motive to sabotage the event. --- Scene: The Investigation Continues – A Key Discovery A few minutes later, Isabella stood near the entrance with a group of security personnel and Nathan, looking over the security footage from the night. Nathan watched the monitors closely. “Here,” he said, pointing at a person sneaking toward the bar. The figure was wearing a dark hoodie, their face hidden in the shadows. They paused briefly, glancing around before slipping behind the bar. Isabella leaned in, her eyes narrowing. “That’s Angela’s assistant, Henry.” “Henry?” Nathan repeated, rewinding the footage to get a clearer shot. Isabella’s jaw clenched. “He’s worked for the Rolands for years. He’s loyal to Angela.” Mercy, who had been standing nearby, muttered, “Seems like they’ve been planning this for a while.” Nathan turned back to the monitors, his focus sharp. “We need to move quickly. If Angela’s behind this, we need proof before she tries to cover her tracks.” --- Scene: Confrontation with Henry – A Break in the Case Isabella, Nathan, and a team of security guards quickly found Henry in a secluded corner of the venue. He was nervously pacing, but as soon as he saw them, his face went pale. “You…” he stammered, taking a step back. “You can’t do this. I—I didn’t do anything.” Nathan stepped forward, his voice cold and unwavering. “We know it was you. You slipped something into that water. Who told you to do it?” Henry’s eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape, but the security team blocked the exits. He was trapped. “I—” He swallowed, looking at the floor. “It was Angela. She said to make sure Isabella’s event was ruined. That she couldn’t let you have this, not after everything.” Isabella’s heart hammered in her chest. She had been right to trust her instincts—Angela wasn’t finished yet. Nathan moved even closer, his voice deadly serious. “If you don’t tell us everything, you’ll be the one to pay for this. You and Angela both.” Henry crumbled under the pressure, lowering his head in defeat. “She… she told me to put something in the water. She said it would make the models sick. She didn’t want the show to succeed. And she wanted to hurt you. She’s obsessed.” Isabella’s eyes burned with fury, but she kept her composure. “Where is she now? Angela?” Henry hesitated, but finally pointed to the far side of the room. “She’s with her mother… by the stage.” --- Scene: The Confrontation – Angela and Mrs. Roland Isabella’s pulse raced as she and Nathan headed straight toward the stage area, where Angela and Mrs. Roland stood, whispering with some of their associates. The instant Angela saw them, her eyes flashed with venom. “I knew you’d figure it out,” Angela sneered. “But it’s too late now, Isabella. I’ll never let you take this from me.” Nathan stepped forward, his voice steady. “It’s over, Angela. The model is safe. The show will go on. And you’re done.” Mrs. Roland, sensing the shift in power, straightened up, stepping protectively in front of Angela. “You don’t understand what you’re up against. We will not let you win.” Isabella held her ground, her gaze hard. “You think I’ll back down because of your threats? You’ve underestimated me for the last time.” --- Scene: Back to Isabella and Nathan – A Moment of Quiet The party raged on, but for Isabella and Nathan, everything felt like it had slowed down. They were no longer just allies in a fight against sabotage. There was something more—something deeper. As the chaos of the sabotage finally came to a resolution, Isabella found herself standing next to Nathan, away from the noise, away from the spotlight. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice tired but genuine. Nathan smiled, his eyes soft. “I told you I’d help. I’m not going anywhere.” For the first time in a long time, Isabella allowed herself to feel the warmth of his words, the comfort of his presence. But there was still a wall around her heart, one that she wasn’t sure she could tear down.
