The higher they rise… the harder they’ll fall

Scene: Roland Estate – Private Lounge Room – Night The room shimmered with soft golden lighting, clinking glasses, and the low hum of jazz playing in the background. Laughter echoed as champagne flowed freely. At the center of it all, Mr. Roland sat smugly in his tailored black suit, swirling a glass of expensive wine. To his left, Mrs. Roland, dazzling in emerald silk, whispered something into his ear, making him chuckle. Angela lounged by the fireplace, holding her champagne flute with an air of triumph. Alina sat beside her, clad in a glittering gown, her eyes alive with cruel satisfaction. And then there was Raymond, looking every bit the rising king—relaxed, arrogant, and drunk on power. “To victory,” Mr. Roland announced, raising his glass. “To the fall of the poor heiress and her lovesick fool.” Everyone laughed, and the glasses clinked. “I have to say,” Raymond added, standing up, “watching Nathan lose everything and then fall apart… was the most entertaining thing I’ve seen in a long time.” Angela smirked. “He always thought he was better than everyone. Now look at him—reduced to nothing. Following Isabella around like a lost puppy.” Alina tossed her curls and grinned. “And Isabella? She thought she was so clever. So powerful. Now she’s neither. No company, no title, nothing.” Mrs. Roland leaned forward with a glassy smile. “The girl had potential. Too bad she didn’t know how to play the game. This world… it doesn’t reward good hearts. It rewards power.” Laughter rippled again. Mr. Roland stood, commanding attention. “This is just the beginning. Marcus Enterprises is under our control. Maxwell Enterprises is ours to shape. And once Nathan is completely broken, he’ll leave for good.” Alina narrowed her eyes a little. “What if he doesn’t? He’s more stubborn than he looks.” Raymond shrugged. “Then we make him wish he had.” Angela raised her glass one more time. “To crushing hearts and collecting empires.” The others joined in. “To power.” Cut to: Outside – A Silent Car Park Nearby From a distance, a shadowy figure sat in a parked black car, lens in hand, watching through binoculars. The celebration, the smiles, the toasts—every second captured. A low voice spoke into a hidden mic: “They’re getting cocky. Just like she predicted.” On the other end of the line, Isabella’s voice answered coldly. “Good. Let them celebrate. The higher they rise… the harder they’ll fall ____ Isabella’s Apartment – Night The apartment was dimly lit, but Isabella stood near the window, her posture tall and composed. Her eyes burned with quiet fury, but her voice remained calm as she spoke into her phone. “They think this is over,” she said coldly. “But it’s just the beginning.” Across the room, Nathan sat silently, still nursing the pain of betrayal and loss. His hands were clenched, his jaw tight. Isabella turned to him, her expression softening. She walked over and knelt before him. “We’re not going to stay broken. Not for them.” Nathan looked at her, eyes shadowed. “They destroyed everything, Isabella. My company, my reputation… I gave it all up. Was it worth it?” Isabella cupped his face. “You didn’t lose everything. You still have me. And I still have you. That’s more than they’ll ever understand.” She stood and grabbed her laptop. “Now… it’s our turn.” --- Scene: Secret Office – The Next Day A small team of elite investigators sat around a sleek, high-tech table. Isabella paced the floor while Nathan stood beside her. “We’re going after Raymond first,” Isabella said firmly. “He used forged documents to accuse Nathan of money laundering. Let’s expose his shell companies, the bribery, every illegal thing he’s covered up.” One of the investigators nodded. “We already found a trail. Offshore accounts in his assistant’s name, fake charities he’s using to launder company funds.” Nathan stepped forward. “Leak it. Let the media have a taste.” --- Scene: Maxwell Enterprises – 48 Hours Later The lobby was chaotic. Journalists swarmed, shouting questions. “Raymond Maxwell—are the fraud accusations true?” “Did you embezzle millions from the company?” Raymond watched the news break from his office. His face drained of color. The headline flashed across the screen: “Raymond Maxwell Accused of Fraud – Investigation Underway” His phone rang endlessly. Shareholders. Lawyers. Family. Raymond slammed his fist on the table. “Isabella…” --- Scene: Isabella’s Apartment – That Evening Nathan and Isabella sat side by side, watching the chaos unfold on TV. Nathan looked at her in disbelief. “You really did it,” he said softly. “You got them to turn on each other.” Isabella smiled faintly. “And we’ve only just started.”
