"Let go of me," I said through gritted teeth, trying to keep my voice steady despite the anger boiling within me.
"Anna, please," Aaron pleaded. "I didn't mean to spill the wine on you. It was an accident. Let me make it up to you."
"Let go of me. Leave my hand."
He released his grip on me and said, "Anna, please listen to me. I know you're angry, but there's something I need to show you."
