I was stunned, my fingers trembling as I held that delicate locket in my hand. The portrait inside depicted Elena, unmistakably her, cradling a baby in her arms. The baby was wrapped in a soft blanket, and both mother and child had serene expressions on their faces. It was a picture of love and tenderness, frozen in time.
"Aaron," Pandora said, "the more we uncover, the clearer it becomes that Elena's connection to the werewolf pack, and perhaps even to Alpha Lucas himself, runs deep.
