Pandora hesitated for a moment, glancing at me as if seeking reassurance. With a nod, I gestured for her to join us. She walked hesitantly toward us and as she approached, my father extended his hand in a welcoming manner.
"Anna," my father greeted warmly, his eyes twinkling with a playful glint. "How are you, my dear?"
My mate's nervousness seemed to dissipate as she met my father's gaze. "I'm well, thank you, Alpha Lucas," she replied with a polite smile.
"No need for formalities," my father chuckled, his warm smile putting her at ease. "You're family now. You can call me Lucas or even just Dad, if you'd like."
