** Dakota’s POV ** “Now before you get all excited Lia,” I cautioned despite the smile playing at the corners of my mouth. “I’m not giving you my answer just yet.” Her smile faded but a still hopeful and inquisitive look took its place “I still need time to think, and you,” I paused for a small amount of dramatic effect, “well you couldn’t possibly imagine what a difficult decision this is for me.” My words were in clear opposition to the smile teasing at my lips so, after only a brief pause, I added “I mean, on one hand there’s my boring job and my annoying boss, my lame weekends during which I am normally searching for a soulmate in tired bars and clubs, and the normalcy of a small studio apartment on a crowded noisy street.
