Finding Love

Chapter 4

The next day we woke up, took a shower, and we got ready for the long day ahead of us. Today we would pick out the perfect venue. “Where do you want to start?” “Well, I called the church, they are booked, so we should check out the lake.” “Okay, heading for the lake.” “When would you like to get married Erick?” “I want to be married as soon as possible.” “You got it babe. I have a question, though.” “What is that?” “How many people actually go missing in the invaded?” “That is classified, Alex. You know that.” “Well, we are getting married, so I figured I would ask.” “Fine, hundreds of people every day.” I was quite shocked of how many people were going missing. Were the aliens planning on attacking again? We made it to the lake, it looked empty. “The lake is never empty like this. Where is everyone?” “I have no clue.” The whole area was deserted.

            We knocked on every window and door we saw, it was completely empty. “Okay, why don’t we just try the beach?” “Yeah, that is a good idea. I want you away from here, you need to stay safe.” We headed for the car and drove away. “Something is fishy around here, Erick. We should have Dylan get on it.” “Dylan is just the doctor, you know this.” “Yeah, but he is your best man, in more ways than one I suppose.” “I guess you are right Alex.” We headed for the beach, the invaded grew. We were almost to the east coast, nothing but death and destruction. Erick looked more worried; something was not right. “Alex, we should get home now. You can call locations. I am not putting you in danger.” “I understand.”

5 Hours Later….

We made it back home. My heart had sunk when I saw the invaded grew larger. I was at a loss for words. Why would they keep taking people? I shook the thought from my mind and picked up my phone. None of the venues answered my call. “Erick?” No one answered. I walked around the base to see if I could locate him, everyone was too busy to realize where he went. I returned home; I saw a note on the fridge. The note read:

            Alex, I love you in more ways than one. Dylan and I went to find out why the invaded grew larger. Do me a favor and stay in the house. I love you, Erick.

            Why would he leave like that before the wedding? Maybe a wedding right now is not worth my time in planning. I grabbed my new uniform and headed out to the invaded. I reached our small corner of a large black space of emptiness. The sun started to go down. I will admit I was a tad scared. I continued to find the answers I needed. I followed my gut, and I headed North. I came across nothing for miles. Then there he was, my best friend. “Jim, I need answers. Either take me with you or tell me your damn self.” “Alex, leave. You are too close to the center, and you will only make things worse.” “Jim, you had told me there was something I didn’t know. I need to find out what that is, I am trying to plan a wedding with no venue. My fiancée is somewhere out here, trying to get himself killed. You need to tell me what is so damn important right now.” “Fine Alex, I will take you with me so you can learn the truth. I tried to protect you, just remember that.” He took me and led me to the center of the invaded.

            An hour or so passed by, we had come to our location. I am plenty sure that Erick is going to be so pissed off at me. I finally see what has been taking everything out. It was some sort of ship. Jim led me on the ship, my mind was racing. We went to the main bridge, where the boss was located. He was tall, green, and very slimy. “Why is she here?” “Your honor, she was seeking answers.” “Alright, put her in the video room.” Video room? Have I made a mistake coming? During the video, I have learned the following:

1.      The invaded were not going to stop.

2.      Humans had taken over the earth from the aliens.

3.      I was part of a revolution.

4.      I was part alien, part human.

5.      I would be the end of the war.

I could not believe what I have learned. The reason Erick and I worked well together was because I was born to stop a war. All of this was nonsense. I really did not love Jim, and I do not know if my feelings for Erick were real. My mind and soul were broken. I was lost in the world of knowledge. I was being deceived. My entire life, as I knew it, was a lie. Jim had led me back to the base, he wanted me to be safe from the invaded. I made it to my bed and fell asleep. I tried to forget by morning, my entire life has been a lie. I was hunting my own kind. That was why more and more people went missing. I was the reason.

            “Alex, where were you last night?” Oh no, our first fight. “I left okay, I needed answers. Yes, I got the answers I was looking for.” Erick looked pissed off. “I told you to stay inside. You were not safe.” “Erick, I am safe. I found out, the reason why so many people are missing, is because of me.” Erick raised an eyebrow. “Come, sit down. This may be the last time; I don’t think you will love me the same way again.” “Alex, don’t be ridiculous.” “Erick, I was born as a symbol to unite us, the aliens and the humans. I am part alien. The reason why the invaded is getting bigger is because I was killing my own kind. I was born to unite us; we stole this planet from them. I was born to make things right.” “Alex, I still love you. Also, for you, I will never stop fighting. I will sail the oceans for you and still fight to keep you safe.” “Erick, I am safe, I was born to unite both the aliens and humans, they will not kill me. We must stop trying to fight them back, they will win. Call the men back, we will be okay.” “Not unless they fed you lies” “Why else did I heal so quick?” He backed away from me, I think he knows I am right. “Calling all men, leave the invaded, abandon your tasks. We are done here.” Dylan comes outside, he heard his new orders. He looked pissed off. “What the hell Erick? They are killing people and you want us to stop hunting them?” “Alex is one of them, she was born to unite us.”  “Dylan, as long as I live. If I am with Erick, we will be okay.” “No, this is not okay.” “Dude, you need to calm down, Alex is the love of my life.” “Erick, she is one of them, she is a traitor, and she needs to die.” “No, Dylan. Please, I am still on your side.” Dylan reached for his gun. When he pulled the trigger, the bullet bounced back and hit him instead. “Dylan, no. Why would you do that?” “She needs to die, one way or another. She is not one of us, she will ruin you.” “No Dylan, she won’t. We need to get you to the hospital now.” “Let me die, I don’t want to live in a world with her in it.” “Were you not the one to r**e me a few months ago?” “That was before I knew what you were.” “If we never told you, I know you would do it again in a heartbeat.” “I probably would.” “Exactly, I am still me. I never knew the truth until now.”

4 Hours Later….

Dylan was in the hospital now, because of what I was. I do not know how to keep things peaceful between the two of us. Maybe I should give up and leave this world with my people. At least then, and only then, will Erick and Dylan be safe. I mean before I came along, there was peace between them. I must give him up, it is the only way. I am sure to fall in love again, I have too. I went back to the center of the invaded, I had to talk to the boss. “Alex, what are you doing here?” “I need to talk to the boss, Jim. I need to leave this planet and fall in love with someone else. Erick and Dylan are best friends, and because of me they are at war. There must be another way.” “Okay, this will not be pretty.” “I don’t care, I want them safe.” We walked to the boss; he was not happy to see me so soon. I knew what had to be done. “Alex what a surprise. What is it now?” “I want to leave this place at once. Erick and Dylan are best friends, they are now at war with each other because of me. There must be another way to settle with the humans.” “Wow, my daughter, trying to ease a fight between two humans. She is learning quite fast Jim, isn’t she?” “What do you mean?” “Alex, I am your dad, your mother was human. I sent her to Earth to have you and stop this war. Now it looks like you did indeed fall in love more than once, you love Dylan.” “No, he r***d me, I could never love him.” “Oh, indeed you do, daughter. You must go and sire him. Make him your husband.”

            I did not love Dylan, could I? He was exceedingly kind, and he made a cute doctor. No! I must never love him! My heart lies with Erick. I got home and went to bed. The next morning Erick had gone to work. I went to visit Dylan, maybe my dad was right, if I could calm Dylan down, he could be awesome. I went to the nurse’s station. “I am looking for a Dylan Chadwick?” “Room 306 on the third-floor miss.” “Thank you kindly.” I walked up the stairs until I reached the third level. I saw Dylan, he had no gown on. His abs were ripped. I began thinking about the night he r***d me, if he would have given me a chance to know him more, he would not had to r**e me, rather ask me out. Dylan went back to his room, and I ran to the bathroom. Seeing him like that got me all hot and bothered. I craved more of him, Erick and I have not had s*x in some time now. I had to breath for a minute and splash water on my face. I made it back to his room, he was lying on his side so he could not see me. Maybe I should do what he did to me, it was a thought anyways.

            “Dylan, are you awake?” “Oh, god what do you want alien creature?” I sat next to him in the bed, what he said got to me. I was still me; I was still human. He still had no shirt on, so I took a deep breath. “What? You look like you want more of my abs or something, are you okay?” “Let us go with something, Dylan, I am still who I was. I will not let anything hurt you or Erick. If I need to leave here I will. The choice is yours.” Dylan got up and headed for the door. I dropped my head; I knew he would be to upset. Then I heard the door close and lock. When I looked up Dylan was right next to me, shirtless. I could not breathe in this moment. He kissed me. I pulled back; I was getting married to his best friend. In this moment, I was lost. He kissed me again, this time we kissed for a while. Things started to heat up. A few minutes later of kissing, he took my dress off. “Dylan, are you sure?” “Alex, I am so sorry for everything. I want more of you, God, I want you so bad it hurts. Even though you are part whatever, you are so hot. So, perfect. We ended up making out for over thirty minutes. “I must get home; I will be back tomorrow. If you want me, that is.” “f**k Alex, I have huge f*****g b***r. Can you at least blow me some?” I got down on my knees, like he asked. I sucked until I could not breathe. Just then I had something salty in my mouth, and Dylan sighed with relief. He had cummed in my mouth, and I swallowed it. “Good night, Dylan. I will see you tomorrow.” “Later hot stuff.”
