The weekend went on fast and it wasn't as bad, maybe because Veronica warned the girls to treat me with kindness and that she will back out of the wedding.
I found out that Dad was fired from the council three months ago and his company is in debt. Veronica is my father's financial advisor and has helped many companies from bankruptcy with her contacts and intelligence, that is why dad is fond of her.
I've reached the school, and keep my head down as I walk to class but unfortunately for me, I meet Sheila and Shieldah in the hallway, laughing at something on their phone, they are identical twins who love to make my life hell here just for the fun of it.
