"Alicia, we're working overtime today, tell Sam," he said. After the connection was disconnected, Mark intended to press the phone button again, but his cell phone rang. Mark looked at the name on his phone screen, smiled and picked it up. "Hello beautiful?" Mark greeted the woman on the other side of the phone. Her voice sounded more excited, as if she had forgotten the folders that were piling up in front of her. "..." "I'm still in the office, why?" Mark said. "..." "Does it have to be now? I have a small meeting with Alicia and Sam," Mark said. "..." "Okay beautiful, I'll be done in an hour," Mark said, smiling. Mark, Alicia, and Sam started this small meeting to discuss the presentation material for the client tomorrow. Alicia has already made the material, and now they will discuss it more in depth so that they can correct each other. Sam is Mark's best friend and one of the managers in his company. Both of them were friends during college. Sam and Mark were like brothers, their families also knew each other well. "Want to stop by the coffee shop after this?" Sam asked Mark and Alicia while tidying up the documents, because the meeting had just finished. "You guys only, Claudia's waiting for me," Mark replied with a shake of his head, while Sam nodded in understanding. "How's it going, Al?" Sam asked Alicia. "That's fine," Alicia replied with a smile. When leaving the company, Sam and Alicia headed to their respective cars and would stop by their favorite coffee shop. Sam and Alicia are also quite close friends. Sam, who is a friend and manager at Mark's company, will often interact with Alicia, who is Mark's personal assistant, and that makes the two even closer. While Sam and Alicia went to a coffee shop, Mark drove his car somewhere to meet Claudia. Claudia is a famous model known throughout Canada, who is also the girlfriend of Mark Pearce. The two of them have been in love for almost two years, even before Mark was given the trust to lead the company. At that time, Mark was just starting to join the company to learn about the company he would lead. Mark is very fond of his girlfriend, because she is the woman he has been fighting for since he was in college in his final semester, after he finished his thesis. He met his girlfriend for the first time in the campus parking lot. At that time, Mark wanted to go home after finishing his last guidance, while his girlfriend was about to attend class that afternoon. The two met and knew each other not because they bumped into each other like in the movies, but because their cars happened to park next to each other, and they greeted each other. The meeting continued when they were reunited in the campus cafeteria. That's where the first time the two of them got acquainted and talked to each other, then got closer until they finally made love until now. Claudia is Mark's junior on campus. However, she only got to know Mark at the end of the semester, even when Mark had finished his thesis, and was just waiting for the trial. She is a kind, cheerful, and sociable child. Although she is also studying business, she loves modeling. He even wanted to become a model. And even during her college years, she has tried modeling for several fashion shows. It's also not uncommon for her to model for some beauty brands. This morning Mark was a little late because he drove Claudia to the location of a photo shoot for a magazine. Claudia actually has a manager and assistant as well as a driver, but this morning the car they were driving suddenly had a problem. When the car was already traveling down the road, it suddenly stalled a little and then broke down. The driver had tried to contact the repair shop, but the manager advised Claudia to get a taxi instead, as it would take too long to wait for the car to be repaired. But the streets were still quiet because it was still early in the morning, so the taxi was nowhere to be seen. Claudia finally asked Mark to pick her up and drive her to the shoot. "Did I take too long?" Mark asked as soon as he arrived at Claudia's house, she was already waiting in the front garden. "No, for you, I will wait as long as anything, hehehe," Claudia said with a chuckle as she hugged Mark. Mark smiled and returned the hug. "Are you also going to wait for me even if it's long?" Claudia asked, looking at Mark still in her arms. Mark smiled at Claudia and pinched her nose. "No matter how long I wait for you, hehehe," Mark replied, hugging Claudia again. Mark and Claudia then rushed to a restaurant. Claudia had called Mark earlier because she really wanted to spend time with her boyfriend. After Claudia finished her photo session this afternoon, she immediately rushed home. The car that had broken down earlier in the morning had been repaired, so it was ready to pick Claudia up. Claudia went home and rested for a while, before finally contacting her boyfriend to invite him to dinner. And here they were, sitting together in one of the private rooms of a restaurant. "I'm having dinner with a famous model, but I haven't showered yet," Mark said and laughed, followed by Claudia. "Even though haven't showered, the model is still in love," Claudia said and both laughed again. "Babe, the next few days my schedule is not too busy. Can I visit your office?" Claudia asked after stuffing one piece of steak meat into her mouth. "Of course, you can come whenever you want, Babe," Mark replied, and Claudia smiled. "What about today's photo shoot?" Asked Mark while cutting his stake "It went well, although I was a little upset that the car broke down this morning. Fortunately, you were able to pick me up and take me to the location of the photo shoot," Claudia answered. "It's a good thing I'm also ready, just leave. So you don't have to wait too long," Mark said. "Then how was it? You must be late," Claudia asked with a sad face, but Mark just laughed at her. His girlfriend looked cute when she made a face like that. "Yes, of course I was a little late. But I'd rather be a little late than let my girlfriend get confused on the street, right?" Mark said, smiling. "That's right, hehehe. But I will pay more attention to the car again, and I will check everything related to work in more detail. So that nothing like that happens," Claudia said. "You have to, but there's no need to force it. You also have to rest," Mark said, and Claudia nodded. "Babe," Mark called. Claudia looked at Mark. "Yes?" Asked Claudia Mark thought for a moment, is this the right time to talk about marriage, or maybe Claudia is waiting for him to say it?
