It's Saturday. The day Lucas asked me to go with him to see his mother. I woke early and showered. Since I didn't own a hairdryer, I need plenty of time to let my thick tresses air dry.  I didn't own any fancy articles of clothing too. I opted for the yellow summer dress that I once bought in a clearance sale, which was the only dress that I have ever owned. I combed my hair and let them fall down on my shoulders, something I wouldn't do frequently because I always had my hair in a loose ponytail.  Lucas was waiting for me just like he had promised.
