"We have to get going now," Lucas said, clearing his throat. His eyes were light but I know that he could hide his emotions well.
"Are you angry with me?" I asked, worried that I might have hurt his feelings unintentionally. Just a minute ago, my legs were wrapped around his waist and now we are literally standing about five feet away from each other.
