Aurora sat at the bar, waiting patiently for Daxton and Nico to walk in, this was the exact place they saw for the first time.
"I really want to apologize for doing that, I promise not to do that again. Please forgive me." Alice pleaded, her eyes were full of repentance.
"I forgave you already but Rita still remains my personal maid. Are you cool with that?." Aurora said, nonchalantly throwing her face off.
"Yes, I'm okay with that but am I still your best friend?."
"Of course, when an issue arises we need to settle it within ourselves without involving anybody." Aurora stated. "I agree to that, can I get a hug?." Alice requested, excitedly. Aurora scoffed and pulled her to a hug.
"The arrival of Alpha Daxton and Alpha Nico from Apex pack." The announcement was made, Aurora disengaged from the hug and smirked. "Here they come, let's get started."
"You haven't come up with any plans yet." Mia reminded. "I will find my way around everything." She replied to her.
"Let's meet with them." Alice urged, she nodded, they walked towards them.
"Good evening Alphas." Alice greeted with a bow. Aurora raised her head and looked at Nico who was also looking at her. "He is still the same handsome Alpha, I couldn't stop staring at him." She drooled.
"Good evening young Luna Aurora, it's good to finally meet you." Daxton greeted, smiling innocently. Aurora took his hand and shook him.
"It's my pleasure, I really hope you enjoy this party." She replied, with a forced smile. Daxton walked into the crowd. "This is my opportunity to speak with him, but I need to send her away."
"I forgot my handkerchief on my bed, kindly get it for me." Aurora said, She left almost immediately. Nico was about to leave, she grabbed his hand.
"You are an introvert right?." She asked, Nico nodded. "Let's go to the garden then, the crowd and loud music is making me sick." She replied with a smile, Nico gave out a charming smile, Aurora's heart melted. "What was I thinking when I chose Daxton over him?."
"I would love to come with you." He replied in a deep voice.
"I love visiting this place when I have a lot on my mind." She said and sat on the swing.
"You look happy and your parents make sure you don't have any reason to be sad." Nico stated, started pushing the swing.
"You are right, I look happy outwardly but not inwardly, I harbour a lot in my heart that I can't even speak to anybody about it. It's so tiring." She vented angrily, and was at the verge of tearing up, she was trying so hard not to cry. Nico was surprised at the sudden change of mood, he stopped pushing and sat beside her.
"Holding back those tears will do no good. Cry as loud as you can, nobody is going to hear you, I promise you will be okay afterwards."
Fresh tears rolled down her cheek, as she cried aloud. She placed her head on his chest, he was reluctant at first but wrapped his hands around her.
Daxton shook his head in disappointment when he found himself at the garden, he was trying to locate the restroom on his own. He turned to the left and saw Nico and Aurora hugging each other passionately from a far.
Anger took control over him. "How do they bond within seconds? I must not let Nico have her. Aurora is mine and is mine forever. I can't stay on this, I need to start executing my plan now." He said, trying to control himself. His eyes were now red, he shot them a deadly glare.

"I'm sure she is going to love this." Daxton muttered as he walked in with a guard leading him to the terrace where Aurora was.
"Thank you." Daxton appreciated, the guard bowed and left. He stood there watching her paint with so much intentionality.
"That's so beautiful." He complimented and took some steps towards her, Aurora turned to look at him.
"Good afternoon beautiful, didn't know you are a talented artist." He greeted in a flirting tone.
"My happy mood has been ruined, all thanks to him." She thought and rolled her eyes. She signalled for the maids and guards to leave.
"Stay within my reach." She said to Rita.
After they've all left. "Thanks for the honour." Daxton appreciated it and took his seat beside her. Aurora shifted a bit from him. "He irritates me a lot."
She forced a smile and spoke. "So, why are you here? The last time I remembered nobody sent an invite to you and you didn't send a formal request to come for a visit." She queried in a stern time, she tried so hard not to let her words come out harshly.
Daxton chuckled. "My sincere apology to you young Luna Aurora, I should have notified you before coming but I'm here already. I will follow the right pattern next time." He stated calmly, giving out a charming smile.
"Please do, what are you here for?." She asked, dipping the brushes in a bowl of water, removing her gloves and her apron.
"Firstly, I'm here to appreciate you for inviting us to the party, we are honoured." Aurora only nodded her head, he smiled.
"I have been thinking about you ever since I set my eyes on you at the party, you took all concentration away. Though, I have been admiring you for a year now but seeing you in person made my love for you increase in hundred folds.
Aurora, I love you so much that I can't wait to make you my wife. You are beautiful, intelligent, smart and kind." Daxton professed his love to her in a sincere way.
"Is that all you have to say?." She bluntly asked, he nodded.
"This is the reason why you disturbed my peace, I'm highly disappointed in you. My answer is no and I don't want to see you here ever again." She shouted at him angrily.
"Why is she reacting this way? Ladies fall in love with my appearance without even listening to what I have to say to them. What could be happening? Was she having a bad day before I arrived?." He questioned himself inwardly.
"I'm sorry, I might be wrong in my expression but it is you I want and I want you to be mine forever."
"You must be joking right? I can never be with someone like you. You think I don't know how you play ladies around? Or how you sleep with different ladies daily? Am I the next in line?." Aurora snapped in anger, the anger in her kept building up.
"How did she know all of these? Now, dating her is going to be difficult."
"It was all a mistake and I have retraced my steps." He defended himself.
"I need to do something before I do something I ought not to do." She sighed out. "I think you need to leave now, I might get back to you later and if I don't then please don't come back here." She bluntly told him. Daxton didn't want to push further.
"Alright I will leave but before I do please accept this flower, I'm sure you will love it." He presented it to her, and she took it from him.
"Thank you, I will await your response." He walked out of the terrace, immediately he was out of sight Aurora trashed the bouquet in the bin closer to her. "A beautiful and nice smelling flower from a bad person." She scoffed, Rita walked in.
"Should I get you another glove?." She asked with a bow.
"No, I can't continue. He ruined my mood already. Get the maid to clear up this place, then go get my lunch and bring it to my room." She ordered, stood up and stepped out.
