"wake up mor*n." Daxton commanded after instructing one of his guards to empty a bucket of water on Aurora on the floor she was laid on in the torture room.
Aurora opened her eyes at once, and tried to stand up as fast as she could and wiped off on her face. "Where I'm I?" She questioned, while looking around.
"This is the torture room where you will live as from now henceforth. Your pack is completely destroyed, nobody survived, this pack is also dead to you but because of what you did to me I would let you stay here maybe until you birth my child then I will send you away or probably kill you, when the time comes the right decision will be made." Daxton explained to her in a deep, harsh tone.
"I really want to scream and spit on him right now, but I need to gain my freedom first."
"Please let me out of here for the sake of my child, I promise not to discomfort you and your wife. I promise to serve you diligently. Please don't let me suffer like this." She pleaded in a calm voice, her eyes were full of pity, sadness. Alice saw how Daxton's facial expression changed.
"I can't let Aurora change his decision, I have worked all my life to see this happen." Alice thought, she smiled and grabbed him by his arm.
"Darling, you shouldn't be too sure about her pregnancy, what if it wasn't for you?. I'm her best friend and I know she has been sleeping with other men. I might be wrong but you need to find out." Alice stated and whisked her brows.
Aurora was shocked once again. "Why are you doing this to me? You know Daxton is the only man I have ever slept with in my whole life, I cut off the friendship relationship I have with men immediately we got married, you can also testify to not seeing me with any man. You are the only man I love so much." She defended herself the best way she could.
"She is right, I was jealous she was cheating on me a few months back, I monitored her for three months and there was nothing like that." Daxton thought he walked out of the room, Alice followed.
"Don't you think changing your mind will affect what we want to achieve? I know Aurora, she is smart and will do anything to free herself, she might make Nico, your greatest enemy, wage war against you, which will make us lose both packs. I need you to think carefully." Alice explained, Daxton faced her.
"Nico will stop at nothing to defend Aurora, he has always been in love with her."
"What should we do now? We must provide a permanent solution." He spoke in distress.
"What if we kill her, everything will work out for us immediately after her death. The child will be gone too, at least he won't threaten to kill you in the nearest future, our peace will be eternal." Alice said and smirked, Daxton was astonished.
"I have been looking for ways for her to die right in front of me, this is the right time for it." She grinned excitedly.
"Why did you want her dead so badly?." He asked, still in surprise.
"Ever since the day her parents killed my parents in cold blood without remorse, I vowed in my mind to get my revenge. Not only that, Aurora stole what belongs to me many times, it is my turn to make her pay for her misdeeds." Alice explained with a deep frown on her face.
"Let's do that tomorrow."
"No, I want it done now, I need to see her struggle for her life, then I will be fulfilled." She insisted, tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Get me a sharp knife." Daxton instructed a guard who was passing by as he couldn't withstand her tears.
"Thank you." She whispered and hugged him tightly. "Aurora will be out of my way in a few minutes, I can't wait to see that happen." She thought, a wide smile appeared on her face.
"You've come back to accept my request right?." Aurora said on seeing them walk in.
"No, we are here to kill you. You don't deserve to live." Alice replied.
Aurora stood up, walked up to Alice and slapped her hard on her cheek. "After all we've done for you this is how you tend to repay us? Do you even know how hard it was for us to accommodate an orphan from another pack? Everybody was against it but we did it out of kindness, without knowing that the same helpless orphan will be our doom.
You killed my parents, destroyed the pack, made sure my husband became yours, and now you want to kill my child and I, is that all you can do?. I regretted the day I set my eyes on you, you will never know peace." Aurora yelled at her with all her strength.
Alice laughed out evilly, you are nothing to me Aurora. My main goal ever since I was a child is to be like you Aurora. The girl who everybody adores and to do that I had to kill my parents to attract the attention of your parents, and steal your life and everything. Thankfully, I achieved it." She revealed and laughed boisterously.
Aurora and Daxton were shocked. "I made my biggest enemy my best friend without even realizing it."
"Yes, and I'm going to kill you now." Alice rushed to the guard to pick the knife but Daxton held her.
"Stop this madness." He urged, she raised her head and looked at him. "If you won't allow me, then I will kill you also and make everything mine." She threatened, her eyes were red in rage, Daxton let her go, the guard held Aurora's hands and legs together, immediately she pushed the knife into her stomach really hard.
"Noooooo." Nico screamed and rushed to the scene. A secret guard he planted in the pack told him about the current situation.
"Nico? Why is he here?." Daxton questioned himself, surprised.
"I'm sorry I arrived late, I'm sorry I left you for him, but I'm here now please hold on." Nico apologized, his clothes were stained in blood as he tried to carry her. She shut her eyes as guilt overwhelmed her.
"I brought this upon myself, I should have listened to you Nico and looked for ways to avoid this occurrence. I'm sorry" she lamented bitterly.
I regret taking that decision. I should have fought hard to make you mine." He apologized and cried. She placed her right hand on his cheek.
"It's too late Nico, I can't survive this...how I really wish I could be given another chance to correct my mistakes and make right decisions." She swallowed hard, her eyelids began to feel heavy, soon, she succumbed to darkness.
Nico screamed out in pain. "No, I caused everything." He placed her gently on the floor after mourning for a few seconds, and rushed to Daxton.
"You ruined my life, I will make you suffer." He shouted, punched him right on his nose and kicked him, Daxton fell to the ground, he continued punching him.
Alice saw how intense the scene was, she took a metal mortal and landed it on Nico's head, he left Daxton immediately and fell to the ground trying to regain his strength. He took the other knife and pierced it into Daxton's chest and passed out.
"Are they dead?." She asked, looking at the bloodshed. "What do I do now?." She asked in confusion on looking at the pool of blood coming out from them.
