Seriously, I yelled as I got outta the bed all angry, my leg got caught in the duvet, and I fell on my face. All I hear is her laughing hysterically. This is why I hate mornings, I yell! slamming the bathroom door shut. I lean on the counter, breathing deeply. Taking out my brown contacts, I poke myself in the eye. I grab my hair in frustration and take another look at the hot mess that I became. My hair looks like I got into a fight with a rooster, which is sandy blonde colored. I have one violet and one turquoise eye. My body is shaped like a pear. My ass needs its own backup beeper. It always knocks things over. I'm 5'10 with olive skin. After the way my morning was going, I decided to skip washing my hair. Because of my luck, I'll choke on it or something. So I brushed out my rat nest, throw it up in a bun. Speed wash my body, and routine, haul ass out to the kitchen, grab my keys and my d**k head best friend, and we run out the door. Coffee forgotten, i see Jessie shaking out of the corner of my eye. I give her the death glare. So help me goddess, if you're laughing, you are getting shoe leather express. She has the decency to look at me red faced tears pulling out her eyes, and sucks in a deep breath to a soul inducing belly laugh. With another deep breath, she puts her hand on her stomach. One hand on her heart, and asked, " Did you seriously fall outta bed? What else happened? " I mumbled poked myself in the eye. The laughter bulids up again. I look at her with the Are u serious right now look. Thankfully, we pulled up to the cafe. you really are an asshole. yea, but you love me, that I do that I do. Grabbing our aprons and pads. We both say "hi" to Marty and Josh, with unison, "hey girls" in return. After a nice morning of our regulars, I finally feel like my morning is turning around until the b***h class table walked in. Around lunch, I see a table of girls my age walk in, laughing and being overly loud. Trying to make sure they stay in attention. Requardless if it's the good kind or not. Taking a deep breath, I walk up and say "hey I'm starlett. What can I get you this afternoon?" They all asked for lemon water and Cesar salad. Tending to my other tables quickly, I stop by the pick-up window and grab their salad. I overheard their conversations. Oh my God, did you see how fat she was? it's a wonder how they got an apron to fit her. Swallowing my temper, I clear my throat in the middle of their laughter. Here's your salad you asked for. The ring leader looks me dead in the eye and sneers. "You didn't put your chubby fingers through it, did you? " No, I didn't touch your food. Mean while the one pushed her chair out a little further, and as I was about to leave, my hip bumped it. Watch where you're going, fat ass! You almost made me lose my lunch! with a smile, I responded "green dosen't suit you." She yelled in her high-pitched squeaky voice. "What does that mean?!" I lean down and smiled it means jealousy doesn't look good. Now, hunny, eat your rabbit food while I stick to my hearty meals. We're all women here. Some have Biggers curves, then others. Now enjoy your lunch and have a blessed day. They all look at me disgusted. With a smile and a wink, I said, "Here's your check, enjoy!" I walk back with an extra swing in my hips while grabbing others' drinks and going about my day. Thankfully, they left directly after, without paying their tab, of course. Plopping my ass down in the seat, I lean back and wipe the hair from my face . Ugh, that was a s**t storm. I thought. Sitting out of my chair a little bit, I asked Marty and Josh to cook me something. I like it when they surprise me with their concoctions. My stomach roars in agreement. A few minutes later, Jessie plops down next to me and wraps her arm around my shoulder. "I saw how you handled the she devils." she says. Yea, they were something else. Top it off, they didn't even pay the bill, so I got to foot it. Really, Jessie replies. They got some nerve, whatcha gettin? I'm not sure i asked the boys to make me something. I replied. With that, she taps on the silver barrier of the window and asked for them to make two. As we wait for our goodness, Jessie turns in her chair facing me. I turn to face her as well. Then she grabs my hands with a devilish glint. So I know you don't like crowds, but that new bar STARS opened up tonight. I think we should go have a couple of drinks, play some pool dance a little, and wash this day away. I also heard there's some eye candy and maybe find yourself a guy. Jessie, I said. You know how I feel about that. I don't want a guy. She cuts me off. Waving her hand in a shooing measure. I know. I know you want THE guy. Well, this isn't a fairytale. This is the real world. Turning my head and looking at the window, I thought if she only knew about mates, how it is true. There is one person out there for us. The other half to our soul, that ties us together. I'm not crazy, but I won't say this out aloud, but I won't give up. Getting shaken out of my thoughts with her hand on my shoulder. Hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. It's not a problem. We both just see it differently, but yes, you're right. We need to shake this day away. With that, Marty sets our food down. Looking at it. It's a loaded bake potato, with loads of sour cream, butter, and bacon bits. Next to it's a steak salad with extra cheese and fries. Next to a hamburg and a molten chocolate cake. Smiling a full tooth grin rubbing my hands together, I dig in. Looking over to Jessie, I see her shaking her head and joining me into this deliciousness . I thank the boys. After we are done eating, we give them hugs, take out stuff, and head to the mall. A few hours later, Jessie plugs her phone in to get the pre party vibes going. she looks over to me "starlett, you better shave your legs, and foucs on the lady bits you never know. Me other the other hand I'm gonna be a walking sin. All those men will need to repent after seeing me. I'm gonna be so tempting a sailor will blush." Alright Ms sin get your ass in the shower so we can even leave. An hour later, we both were ready, I took her advice and shaved. looking over to Jessie, I see her black flowly top, with a pair of denim ripped jeans. White heels. Her alburn hair was loosely curled down her back. Matched with natural makeup, her sea green eyes are standing out. She stands about 5'5. slim bulid , but an altitude of a grizzly. On the other hand, I have daisy dukes with a tight flannel shirt. and cute boots. My hair is curled as well, half up and down styled. Natural makeup as well. Looking at myself, I let out a wolf whistle.
