At noon, beneath the blazing sun, Sea-turtle threw off onto a silent beach. The water streams had pushed Sea-turtle to land, and it was impossible to swim against it. Sea-turtle turned around himself to have a rest on that unoccupied island.
The breezy breeze was blowing the leaf of the coconut tree drawn Sea-turtle to sleep soundly. One reason he woke up immediately is something knocking his shell. That’s Seagull for you.
He ignored Seagull that landed above him, then back to sleep. Sea-turtle unexpectedly looked at Seagull, did not move his leg when he opened his eyes.
“What are you doing above me?”
“Awaking you. Looks like you need a favor.”
Sea-turtle stood on his feet. “I need my shoal. But I left behind.”
Seagull thought a lot. It reminded him about the ocean on high alert recently. Many whirlpools have embarked everywhere. The sea dwellers pull themselves away from the coastline, avoiding being separated from their shoal.
Seagull beak swooped down toward Sea-turtle head. “The waves got better this afternoon. Why don’t you pursue them?”
“They considered me a slowpoke. So my effort will be… useless.”
Seagull felt of Sea-turtle movement, came back to his sleep position. Refrain himself for disturbing Sea-turtle, Seagull kept silent.
Once again Sea-turtle woke up in the afternoon. He surprised yearning Seagull still on top of him. For a moment he came to his sense, realized that Seagull was too light to give pressure into his sturdy shell.
“Hey, Seagull. Why are you so thin?”
“I can’t catch any fish without my flock. And now I deserted here due to the typhoon.”
“So why did you just let me sleep?”
“In the beginning, I proffered a favor, not expecting otherwise.”
