Being without Oryn was already painful and it had only been three hours!
“I’ll try and get out of there as fast as I can to come back.” Katrina held my hand in hers a sad grin on her face. “In the meanwhile, make sure you don’t get into too much trouble, alright?”
“I’ll miss you, Katrina,” it felt like I wouldn’t be seeing her for a long time, but maybe that was just what I was feeling because of Oryn. Eirik had left earlier too, he didn’t want to make it a big deal so he left before the ceremony had started. I was worried about sending him off by himself but in spite of his stature, he can take care of himself.
“Write me a letter okay? The mail service between the two realms is slow but I’ll be sure to respond as soon as I can.” She hugged me tightly before pulling back.
