I step from the bathroom, nerves filling my body. I had taken my time in getting ready, wondering if today I would find the same as the previous day. I do not want to find Ezra sitting in the kitchen waiting… the previous day had been awkward, even more so with the evening’s events... Hunter had not come looking for me when I had retired to my allocated bedroom, despite the fact we were trying to maintian the façade we were a happily married couple. When his brother had arrived he had been adamant we would share his room. Make the scene more believeable. But, last night, he must have been quite content to have his room to himself, for not once did he reach out, nor come looking for me. And in truth, I was happy for my own space. Happy to not have him there passing judgement. Criticising.
