I had rushed from the house, knowing my late arrival was truly going to have flustered my father and his cronies. But, in all honesty I was reaching the point of not caring. I had recieved several mindlinks demanding to know where I was at, and all had remained unanswered. From my father, my mother and pack elders. Mindlinks from Hunter demanding to be there soon to take the pressure from him, only told me that the meeting was not as pleasant as it had been portrayed by my family. This was a mess I did not want to get involved in… ‘Did I not tell you to get in the damn car?’ Ghost joked clearly sensing my unease. 'Said to get away while you could.' ‘This is pack. You know we have to do this.’ I reminded him. 'And even if we didn't, you know my Dad would never let me hear the end of it.'
