I left Lena in the guest room feeling kind of empty. It wasn’t the place I wanted to leave her if I was honest. It wasn’t the place my wolf was telling me to leave her. But, I wanted to be honorable. I wanted to be decent. And I wanted her to trust me. She needed time. And she needed space.
