I stalked through the packhouse, seriously irritated by another of my father’s early wake up call. But, knowing if I had not woken then I would never have heard the end of it. That man still seemed to think I was incapable of functioning without his interference. I was set to be the next Alpha, but how was that going to be possible if my own father could not trust me? I was due to meet my brother for breakfast, so headed out of the packhouse into the glaring sunshine. My eyes instantly coming down into a scowl as I do. It was too early for sunshine. Especially before coffee and after a late night return from my night out (or would it be considered an early morning?). Either way, having breakfast with my brother was not something I was ready for. Lunch or dinner would have been better. But
