CORRIGAN'S POV
The cold winter had begun setting in and my stomach was now too big to be hidden. I was puffing up and stayed out of sight most of the time. I had particularly not seen Elaine recently. Alec told me she returned to their pack house to keep things under control for a while, in his absence. It was such a relief for me, but an even bigger one for Lucien, who up till now hadn't admitted to her that I was with his child.
Surprisingly, her brother Alec swears that she knows nothing from his end too. In his words, “he's not in the position to tell her such,”. I find it very hard to believe, but also think he is right. Elaine was engaged to Lucien and if there be any addition to their intending family, the information should come from Lucien himself to her.
